I ordered Discovery from the official site and tested it myself (just my personal take) 1) It smells intensely like concentrated fabric softener from laundry—so incredibly sweet that your tongue almost tingles when you smell it 2) Powdery and rich floral notes with a strong lily fragrance 3) It's basically perfumed tissue Rating: 3.2 out of 5 (For my taste, it was way too heavy and overly sweet, so it wasn't really my thing)

When I spray it more than twice, I get nauseous and dizzy. This fragrance is, in a word, all about white flowers! It's a white floral party scent. From the very first spray, tuberose, jasmine, and lily create an intensely floral opening that makes a real statement. The tuberose is strong, and the lily is quite potent too, so the projection fills the entire space beautifully. In the heart, vanilla and musk come together to add a sweet lingering quality, but the two powerhouse florals at the top don't lose their presence at all. The woody base notes provide some grounding and stability. I'm learning that when your body isn't feeling well or you're extra sensitive, you should probably avoid bold, intense fragrances with strong character. It's surprising how a scent I normally adore can suddenly feel off-putting. Le Labo Lys is a fragrance with strong projection and distinctive character. If you wear it when you're not feeling your best, you might find it feels tiring. That said, the scent throw, diffusion, and longevity are all quite impressive.

I ordered the discovery set directly and have been trying it out. It's supposed to have a lily scent, but only the initial fragrance smells like that. The lingering scent just smells like cheap air freshener, honestly. I really don't see why I'd need to keep this product. Le Labo fragrances have such amazing longevity and sillage - I'm obsessed! Lis is supposed to be a lily scent, and it truly feels luxurious and high-end. If you don't get the right batch, it can smell like a department store bathroom, which is such a letdown.
