This modeling pack is decent enough for a quick application and use. I've gone through an entire pack and it doesn't seem to have any real brightening benefits. Right after applying it, your skin might look a bit brighter, but that's just from the cooling sensation making it feel fresher and lighter. I usually use cooling modeling masks during summer, but this was my first time trying a pearl mask, and I'm really impressed! The brightening results are fantastic. There's honestly nothing disappointing about it. If I really had to nitpick, I genuinely can't think of anything to complain about! Important tip: please don't rinse the modeling mask down your bathroom sink. Skin type: oily, combination, dehydrated, prone to heat and redness I originally used the vitamin version, but I've switched to the pearl formula and I'm really happy with it. When it comes to calming the skin and reducing redness and heat, this is honestly the best. That said, if you're looking for a brighter, more luminous complexion, I'd recommend the vitamin one instead. The vitamin version gave me that radiant, glowing feeling, while the pearl formula... it's more like your skin feels balanced and soothed, you know? Once it dries completely, it turns white and the entire mask doesn't peel off in one piece, which is pretty annoying. Some other products peel off cleanly without leaving any flakes, but this one... after it fully dries, white flakes keep sticking around and it's frustrating. It's actually difficult to remove all the flakes from your skin. Use a generous tablespoon. Mix with one-fifth water and let it cool. When applying to the edges and outer areas, apply it thickly so it won't leave flakes when you peel it off later. If you leave it on for more than 20 minutes, flakes will form and it'll turn white, so I'd recommend sticking to exactly 20 minutes. Going longer than that actually feels like it's drawing moisture out of your skin instead of adding it.
