There's no yellow cast whatsoever, and the color isn't a pure nude, so it has decent payoff. If you want some actual color deposit rather than just a sheer wash, I'd definitely recommend it. Being a lip pencil, it's matte and adheres really well to the lips. Because it grips so nicely, there's minimal transfer. If you want to smudge it, do it right after application—that works best. When I tried smudging after applying the full color, it didn't work as well. The packaging design is super sleek and minimal, just like high-end brands, and it looks really nice. You can check the color from the bottom, and the shade name is printed on it, which is great. Best of all, the price is so reasonable. It's way more affordable than most lip pencils, so buying multiple shades is totally doable. I also noticed the velvet tint's lasting power seemed a bit better. Sure, there are some great long-wear fixing tints out there lately, but I personally prefer velvet tints. The downside with velvet tints is they don't adhere well—they feel like they're floating on your lips, and the wear time is honestly terrible. But when I use this lip pencil all over my lips, smudge it out, and then apply the velvet tint with my fingertip, it sticks beautifully to my lips. When I blot with a tissue, almost all the tint that would normally disappear stayed put. Even when eating, which used to make it fade completely, it left a slight trace when used with the pencil. If you've loved velvet tints but been frustrated with how quickly they fade, I really recommend using this lip pencil together with it. There's the hassle of having to sharpen it, but that's manageable. Being matte means it can feel drying. Plus, when you use it with a velvet tint, you might feel some dryness on the inner lips, so you really need to keep up with lip care. Also, the color on the official website looks noticeably different from the actual shade. Since you can only buy it online, there's no way to check the real color in person, which is really disappointing. - wo*******Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất23/01/2021 (UTC+0)
I searched for clean ingredients when looking for a lip liner and ordered this product. The only concerning ingredient is the red-toned color component, so I felt good about ordering it. I wanted to create an overlip effect, which is why I got this liner. The color payoff is absolutely fantastic - the shade matched the color swatch perfectly, and I loved that. The application is incredibly smooth too. I'm so happy with how it applies that if I finish it, I'm definitely planning to repurchase. The color range is wonderful. There's nothing really disappointing about it, but since it's a pencil type that you need to sharpen, I'm a bit worried about it breaking while sharpening. I also wish there was a smaller travel-size option so I could carry it with me more easily. Looking at the color swatches, there are a lot of reds and pinks. I would have loved to see more orange-toned shades in the range.
