Best of all, the stick format is incredibly convenient. It blends out with barely any patchiness, though I think beginners might find it tricky to apply evenly. For contouring, I've only used regular powder formulas before, which tend to show up noticeably and fade easily without a setting spray. But this stick lasts quite a while even on days I skip the setting spray. That said, it does transfer about as much as a regular foundation. Once you adjust the amount and find the right shade for your skin tone, this becomes a really useful custom contouring product. My skin tends to be on the red side, and when I apply this straight without mixing, it looks way too orange and earthy-toned. If your skin isn't naturally yellow-toned, you'll probably find the mixing process annoying and feel a bit disappointed.
