This is genuinely a coffee brown shade! When you use it to line your lips, you can totally pull off that trendy ombré lip look that everyone's obsessed with. Sure, if you're not careful, it might give off those nostalgic vibes from your mom's younger days, but honestly? If that's the vibe you're going for, it actually works beautifully. The fact that you absolutely need a sharpener is kind of annoying. Since I don't use it constantly anyway, it's not a huge deal.

The shade is a deep chocolate brown. Coffee brown could work too, but to me it reads more as chocolate brown. Because it's such a rich color, the payoff is really intense, so if I want a lighter look, I just apply it gently with a light hand. Being a lip pencil, it has that matte finish and adheres nicely to the lips. Because it grips so well, there's minimal transfer, which is great. If you want to smudge it, you should do that right after application. I tried waiting until I'd finished applying it all, and the smudging didn't work as well. The packaging design is super sleek and minimal, just like high-end brands, and I love it. You can see the actual color on the bottom, and the shade name is printed there too, which is really helpful. Best of all, the price is so reasonable. It's actually cheaper than most lip pencils out there, so buying multiple shades is totally doable. I also noticed the staying power with velvet tints seems to have improved. There are definitely some great long-wear fixing tints on the market these days, but personally I'm more of a velvet tint person. The thing is, velvet tints have this downside where they don't adhere well and kind of float on the lips, so the longevity is honestly terrible. But here's the game-changer: if I apply this lip pencil all over my lips and smudge it, then layer the velvet tint on top with my fingertip, it locks everything in place. So when I do the tissue blot test, the tint that usually fades away stays put way better than expected. Even when eating, it used to disappear almost completely, but with this lip pencil, some color actually lingers. If you've loved velvet tints but been frustrated with how quickly they fade, I really recommend using this lip pencil as a base. There is the hassle of having to sharpen it, but honestly that's manageable. Because it's matte, it can feel a bit drying. And when you use it with velvet tints, you might notice some dryness on the inner lips, so keeping your lips well-moisturized becomes essential. Also, the color on the official website looks noticeably different from the actual product color. Since you can only buy this online, there's no way to check the shade in person, and that's really disappointing.
ql******Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmĐược đề xuất06/12/2021 (UTC+0)I was looking for a dark lip liner and didn't want to wait for international shipping, so I just grabbed this one instead - and I'm really happy with it! The crayon formula applies beautifully with great color payoff. I'm planning to use it with nude, pink, and brown lipsticks. I've been loving the trend of using a darker liner to make it really stand out lately. So satisfied with this purchase. Plus, it came with over 2 years until expiration, which is fantastic. It's a sharpening pencil type, not automatic. Every time you sharpen it, the tip gets really sharp, so it applies too thin at first - kind of disappointing.
