I tried this base product and I absolutely love it! My skin is extremely dry, but this kept it so hydrated. I was using another brand before, and while this isn't quite as moisturizing as that one, I can't complain. The coverage is fantastic and it doesn't feel heavy at all. When I apply a thin layer over my skincare and use a light hand with the cushion, it looks perfect. I'll admit, since this is my first mesh cushion formula, applying it thinly took some practice at first, but honestly, aside from that learning curve, everything else is great. One thing though—the shade runs really light. I usually go for deeper tones, and even though I ordered shade 21 which is my normal match, it came out way too bright. I've been slathering sunscreen on my neck just to match it. My advice? Go one shade darker than you normally would. The shade is way too light. Great formula for oily skin! It might be a bit too dark for lighter skin tones though The amount is way too little and the case rattles around so much... really frustrating

Because the product has a mesh applicator, the formula gradually migrates toward the edges, which makes it frustrating to use up the remaining product. I've tried other mesh applicators before and they haven't had this issue nearly as much, so this one seems particularly prone to this problem. The color is absolutely gorgeous! I love how this foundation features a mesh design with a night-type powder that helps you control coverage so easily. It's such a clever and convenient product. There are quite a few drawbacks I need to mention. Longevity: The wear time maxes out at around 4-5 hours, so this isn't a long-lasting formula. Honestly, I'd only reach for it for quick trips—like a fast run to the convenience store or a short outing. Coverage: The coverage itself is actually really good. It does an excellent job hiding redness and blurs pores beautifully. That said, it struggles with more stubborn imperfections like acne or scars. Oxidation: There is some color shifting, but it's not extreme—it darkens slightly but stays fairly true to your skin tone. Other issues: It transfers quite a bit. Sweat is definitely its enemy. The adhesion isn't great, the powder doesn't dispense smoothly, and it tends to shift around. It catches on the nose and settles into fine lines noticeably. I was using Luna's blur cushion so well that I decided to try it, but it turned out to be more of a basic staple than I expected, so I think I'll go back to a blur cushion next time! There's a solid foundation inside the mesh net, so you need to apply it by dabbing it on with the puff. The cushion spreads lightly when you apply it. I really love this formula because it gives me that full coverage I'm looking for, just like a foundation would. Honestly, I feel like I don't even need to use a separate concealer with this! The mesh applicator makes it hard to get the product out quickly. The staying power is decent, but nothing amazing. Plus, I'm not really a fan of the puff that comes with it. I'd definitely recommend this for dry skin! Just keep in mind that if you skip a thorough skincare routine underneath, you might notice a bit of flaking by afternoon. But here's the thing - a light powder touch-up really helps keep excess shine at bay. I didn't feel like it did much to hide acne or dark spots, so you'll definitely need a concealer on top.

I absolutely love their concealer, but honestly, this cushion doesn't deliver the coverage I expected. It applies thin and lightweight with quick-setting matte finish, so it really seems designed to prioritize that sheer, feather-light application rather than full coverage. The shade is beautifully matched and works wonderfully for yellow undertones. The mesh applicator is convenient for controlling product amount, though the powder doesn't always pick up as easily from the mesh texture. The adhesion is solid and reliable. Everything else is fantastic - the pore coverage, lasting power, skin texture blending, and preventing oxidation are all excellent! I was really surprised by the coverage - I expected more from Luna. The mesh grid on this hard foundation makes it so easy to control how much product you use. I really appreciated that feature! Unfortunately, this product didn't work out for me overall. The staying power just wasn't there—my foundation kept sliding off my nose as the day went on, and I tried different primers but the slipping continued no matter what. The longevity is pretty weak too, so it kept rubbing off throughout the day, which was frustrating.
