The formula is absolutely unique! It has this interesting texture with a mesh-like structure that gives it just the right consistency, and honestly, the pore coverage is incredible! I barely noticed any darkening, and you can skip the powder entirely—the cushion alone does the job perfectly. I really can't think of any downsides! It's a flawless cushion formula. This foundation applies so smoothly and thin while still providing excellent coverage. The included puff is incredibly soft and blends beautifully too. Once I'm out and my skin gets a bit oily, it actually adheres even better and looks absolutely flawless. The shade turned out beautifully! I loved that the first shade had such a pretty tone without any yellow undertones when I first applied it to my skin. Since Luna is known for their excellent concealers and base products, I had high expectations for this cushion too. The mesh container holds a rich, creamy foundation, so even a small amount provides decent coverage. However, the amount control isn't the easiest to manage. The formula has a semi-matte finish, but it tends to clump or lift around my mouth and fine lines, and it doesn't create a smooth, flawless finish. I was really disappointed with how it adheres to the skin. The wear throughout the day wasn't great either. It doesn't break down messily, but the skin texture just didn't look as refined as I'd hoped. Also, the case picks up fingerprints easily, so you'll need to clean it frequently. This cushion isn't one I reach for often. That said, some people do find it works wonderfully for them, so if you're thinking about buying it, definitely test it out first before making your purchase!

The solid balm base provides excellent coverage, and the mesh texture prevents clumping when you apply it with the applicator, so you get a smooth, even application. I noticed this same issue last year with another brand's sponge and mesh cushion hybrid. Honestly, when I see cushions that combine two different formulas like this, I wonder what the point is. It feels like it's neither a balm nor a mesh cushion, just an awkward in-between. Even when I adjust the amount, it applies too thickly and makes my skin look dry and flaky. The mesh interior is quite firm, so I was genuinely surprised when I first used it. I can't believe it... everything is just covered up! My skin is really prone to breakouts, you know? But... this is heaven, seriously get it! The coverage is really easy to adjust, and you don't even need a separate primer since the pore coverage is quite impressive. The staying power is solid, and I expected it to feel dry, but it actually has a nice balanced moisture level that I think would work great for people with non-oily skin during summer. I loved that it finishes with a natural glow rather than a matte look, so when I touch up my makeup throughout the day, it blends seamlessly without clumping. This cushion really disappoints when it comes to adhesion. Since it doesn't grip the skin well, it starts to wear away and separate as you tap it on, creating visible lines. Especially when I wear glasses, they rub against my cheeks and wipe away the base, which happens way more with this cushion compared to other brands. I really loved how the puff felt so soft and bouncy! I can't speak to other benefits, but that texture alone made me happy. The product amount is too small, and the darkening effect is really noticeable. The staying power isn't great either, and the flaking is honestly terrible. Even after exfoliating, it still flakes like crazy. I wasn't impressed when I first bought this, so I put it away. But now that it's summer, I'm using it again and I'm pleasantly surprised! Even though my skin is dry, it doesn't feel patchy at all, and the coverage is really impressive. The amount you get is honestly so little. I just refilled it not long ago, but I've already used more than half of it.

The semi-matte finish means you don't even need to set it with powder, and I love how it breaks down throughout the day. It doesn't pick up much on the puff, so at first I was confused about how to use it. It seems better suited for touch-ups than for initial application. Even though it's a mesh cushion, the product doesn't come out evenly.
