Perfect shampoo for oily hair I have extremely oily hair and it gets greasy even after just one day without washing, but this shampoo really extends the time between washes It's quite pricey. The price feels steep compared to the amount you get, and sometimes the salt granules don't dissolve well. If you use your fingers to apply it, the moisture on your fingertips can cause the salt granules to dissolve prematurely. Still, after one wash my scalp feels incredibly refreshed and clean, which I absolutely love :) The only downside is really just the price. The fragrance is absolutely wonderful—it has such a soft, delicate floral scent. The coarse salt granules work beautifully for exfoliating away dead skin. It lathers up nicely too. I've been using this small jar for over a month now with thick, waist-length hair, and I'm amazed at how long it lasts. The salt particles don't dissolve easily in water, so while the exfoliation is effective, the product doesn't distribute well through my hair. About half of it just falls out before I can work it in properly. I bought this on a staff member's recommendation and I absolutely love it. If you've had perms or struggle with flat, lifeless hair, I seriously can't recommend this enough. This salt shampoo brings incredible volume back to your hair, and the lather is so rich and creamy. What makes it special is that it uses safe salt ingredients that won't damage your scalp, so I even use it for scalp massage. The difference in volume between days I use it and days I don't is honestly night and day, which is why I keep coming back to it. Everything about it is great, but it does feel a bit stiff at first. I learned that LUSH hair products don't contain silicones or waxes that can harm your scalp and hair, which is why there's that initial stiffness. If you love citrus scents, this fragrance is definitely for you. It's absolutely perfect for oily scalps. Even when I wash my hair in the morning, it usually gets weighed down by evening, but with this product, my hair stays fresh and light all day long. Your hair does feel quite stiff right after application. It gets a bit better once you dry it, but if you're looking for that smooth, silky feel, this product isn't the right match for you.
