I'm honestly not sure what the positives are, and the price is way too high for the amount you get. I have a sensitive scalp and I'm particularly reactive to harsh surfactants and other irritating ingredients in shampoos. The store associate recommended this as a gentle formula, so I decided to give it a try. I've been using this product consistently and I'm really happy with it. The scent is fresh and pleasant with no harsh notes whatsoever, and it finishes with a subtle sweetness. While the salt granules make it a bit much for daily use, my scalp feels incredibly refreshed and invigorated after each application. The price point is quite steep, and the salt granules feel like they might be too abrasive for everyday use. I apply it by dispensing some into my palm, then using my other hand to dab it onto different areas of my scalp before shampooing. This method helps the salt granules distribute evenly and gives an even more refreshing feel. Since I have an oily scalp, I feel a nice refreshing sensation when I wash my hair, which gives me confidence that I'm getting a thorough cleanse. I bought this because it was recommended for oily scalp, but even though I wash my hair in the morning, by evening it looks greasy again like I haven't washed it at all. I thought it was just my naturally oily scalp, but when I switched to a different shampoo, my hair stayed fresh for a whole day without washing. That's when I realized this product just wasn't working for me, so I stopped using it. Plus, the price is way too expensive for the results.

Because it contains lemon, my hair gets cleansed thoroughly without feeling greasy or oily, but it doesn't feel dry or tight either. Thanks to this, even the next day after using a flat iron, my style holds up beautifully. Absolutely love it! If you have an oily scalp or deal with odor buildup at your roots, this is perfect for you. The cooling effect is seriously amazing, and honestly, other cooling shampoos don't even come close. Yes, it's pricey, so I use it as a special treat when I want to refresh my scalp and feel that invigorating sensation. The scent is fresh and pleasant, nothing harsh about it. Plus, you only need a little bit and it creates a great lather. The downside is that it stings quite a bit if it gets in your eyes, and toward the end of the bottle, the scent starts to smell off, which is disappointing. I'd also love it if the empty bottle qualified for their recycling rewards program.

The scent is somewhere between sweet lemon and citrus notes. The formula has a lightweight consistency with wasabi granules mixed in. It really helps with scalp exfoliation. True to LUSH's reputation, the rich, luxurious lather is fantastic. There's a cooling effect that isn't just temporary—even after rinsing with water, my scalp stays refreshed for several minutes. When my scalp feels overheated in summer, using this leaves me feeling cool and invigorated. The scent is fresh and crisp, which is nice, but it's not very strong so the fragrance doesn't last long. Even after rinsing thoroughly with water, tiny wasabi granules remain scattered throughout when I apply conditioner.
