I posted before and after photos, and as someone with noticeable pores around the nose area, I saw some of those pesky whiteheads clear up. The SP version has honey in it, so the texture feels a bit less spreadable and less intense compared to the original. That said, after cleansing, there's a refreshing cooling effect that feels really nice and soothing. What I loved most is that even after 15 minutes, unlike other sheet masks from other brands, it doesn't dry out in that uncomfortable, tight way. During the full 15-minute treatment, my face moved around without any discomfort, tightness, or irritation, and there was zero tightness after washing either. Honestly, I preferred the SP version over the original formula. I used to use the Mask Mint, but a staff member at Lush recommended the Freezing mask for dry skin, so I decided to give it a try. I can definitely tell the honey is doing its job—the mask feels so hydrating and you can actually see all that honey in there! My old mask would dry out and crack after about 10 minutes, but this one stays comfortable and supple. I'm really happy with the difference! The dryness and cracking are definitely better, though I do still notice a tiny bit of tightness here and there. I'm not sure what's in this, but my skin got damaged after using it... absolutely don't use it. I used this mask pack for 9 minutes and got hives on my face? I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction, but I broke out in hives all over my face... Before and after photos... Am I supposed to do this after cleansing? The burning sensation kept getting stronger and it was so itchy that I had to hold back from scratching. After washing it off, my skin doesn't feel like my own skin anymore... But since they mentioned this new version has a more hydrating formula, I grabbed the bigger one. And honestly, it's noticeably more moisturizing and less irritating than before! The application is so much smoother too! That said, if you were someone who really loved the texture of the original formula, you might feel a bit disappointed with this change. When I bought this, the staff member recommended some kind of tea tree gel to use alongside it. This has a lovely sage green shade, and I absolutely love how refreshing it feels during summer! The cooling effect lasts quite a while too, so my skin stays cool even while I'm doing my skincare routine and applying my base products. It's definitely a summer essential. That said, I'd recommend this more for oily skin types rather than dry skin, since it can feel a bit drying. The texture is way too grainy and it dries out so quickly on my face. The formula doesn't spread smoothly at all, so it keeps breaking apart as I apply it and I end up wasting product. The value for money just isn't there. Use a light hand when rolling it on because the texture is quite rough. Pop it in the fridge on hot summer days and it feels amazing.
