I used this together with Cosmetic Warrior and I'm absolutely obsessed! It has the most gorgeous rose fragrance, and the texture feels like a mud mask, which is perfect for me since I love mud masks and have oily skin. Honestly, without this product, I never would have finished my Cosmetic Warrior bottle! I personally prefer exfoliating masks with texture and grit, so I was a bit disappointed that this one doesn't have any. I've tried plenty of rush masks before, and most of them were the type that dry down and harden. But this one has such a unique stretchy, rubber-like texture that I was really surprised! Because of that, after using it, the excess oil and sebum disappear, and it feels like a second skin has formed on your face. Personally, I found it works best when I do a gentle exfoliation first, let a hydrating cream absorb into my skin, and then apply this mask. My skin feels so plump and moisturized afterward. When I apply the mask over the hydrating cream, rinse it off with water, and then do one more round of basic skincare on top, my skin feels completely saturated with moisture. If I skip this routine, it just feels like a powder coating is sitting on dry skin, which actually makes my complexion feel even more parched and tight. The price is definitely steep for the amount you get, and the short shelf life means you have to use it up quickly, which is frustrating. While it doesn't have a scrubbing effect, it definitely leaves your skin feeling noticeably smoother and more refined. Since the ingredients are so fresh, the moisture kept separating and rising to the top, which was frustrating. Even when I mixed it thoroughly before applying, the pack at the bottom of the container felt a bit dry and stiff. Don't skimp on the amount just because the jar is small! Even if you use it less frequently, the key is to apply a generous, thick layer each time you use it.

On those days when it's scorching hot or my skin feels extra sensitive, this mask is absolutely amazing for cooling things down and brightening my complexion. The cooling effect kicks in the moment I apply it, and I can feel the heat just melt away. Plus, it doesn't harden too quickly on my face even after 15 minutes or more, so it's gentle and super convenient to use. The only downside with this brand is the short shelf life, I have to admit. But honestly, that just means I go through it faster, which I'm totally fine with!
