The application is absolutely wonderful! I typically pump it once or twice and spread it across my entire face, letting it absorb completely. It's not sticky at all and absorbs right away, but it keeps my skin feeling hydrated for a long time. The formula works beautifully with my dry skin type. I've noticed my laugh lines and under-eye area look smoother, and my overall complexion appears brighter and more even-toned. There's really nothing major to complain about, but because of the product's natural color, my face does get a slight yellow cast when I apply it. Since I only use it at night, it's not an issue for me. After my evening cleanse and basic skincare routine, I apply it once and wait a bit before mixing it into my hydrating or moisturizing cream and applying it again. I've been using this for about two years now. I have dry, combination skin and it works really well for me. The absorption is fantastic, and since it contains idebenone, I've noticed some real improvement in my fine lines and wrinkles. Unfortunately, some units arrived with broken pump caps, which was really frustrating to deal with. I picked up this serum along with the tone-up sunscreen. I went with the lab version since they were running a big promotion at the time. It's pretty standard overall. The ingredient list is a bit disappointing. Everything else was fine though, and I grabbed this serum as a bundle with the tone-up sunscreen. I really loved the subtle fragrance, and the texture is fantastic for an essence—it doesn't run all over the place, which makes it so easy to use. I tried a vitamin C product before and it was really irritating and stung my skin, so I switched to this one. I'm happy to say it doesn't irritate me at all, and I'm really pleased with it. The yellow tone is pretty intense, so I find myself holding back on how much I apply—I'm a bit worried it might make my face look too yellow, even though that's probably unlikely. I've repurchased this product 8 times now. Despite its lightweight formula, it doesn't feel dry at all when applied on its own. What I love most is that it's not sticky either. The yellow particles make me feel like it's doing something good for my skin, and the pump bottle makes it so convenient and hygienic to use. However, what I did appreciate is that it effectively prevents the dryness that can lead to fine lines, which is why I've repurchased it. The formula absorbs instantly like ceramide-based products, giving my skin that deep, hydrated feeling right away. Whether it's because my skin is so well-moisturized or not, I've also noticed my complexion looks noticeably brighter. I was a bit disappointed that the packaging is plastic-based, so it doesn't feel as luxurious as I'd hoped. That said, the moisturizing effect when using it was really satisfying.
