I used to rely on shaving foam and foam gel from a major razor brand, but I found them irritating and the thick lather made it hard to see exactly where I was shaving. That's why I switched to this product. It's much less irritating than traditional shaving foam, and because it's transparent, I can clearly see which areas I've covered and which I haven't, making the whole shaving experience more convenient. I can't speak to other versions, but this Frozen formula seems to reduce the heat and redness I used to get after shaving with my Gillette SkinTech razor. When I use my Gillette SkinTech blade razor, the heat sensation on my skin has decreased significantly. However, when I switch to an electric razor like the Braun Series 3 BT, my skin gets extremely hot and red, and this product doesn't really help with that issue. Since the electric razor doesn't work well for my skin anyway, I've gone back to using only my blade razor, so I'm very happy with this product. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the price is a bit steep for the amount you get. Compared to shaving foam, this is so much gentler on my skin and has better ingredients, so I can shave without any irritation or breakouts. I'm really happy that they added a cooling function to the original formula - it makes the whole experience even more satisfying! I don't really have any major complaints. Transparency is a game-changer. I didn't think much of it when I was just using shaving foam, but once I tried this, I felt the difference immediately. Because it's see-through, I can check my shaving progress in real time. Sure, I can feel it with my hands, but being able to see exactly what I'm doing lets me shave so much more carefully and thoroughly. I can also spot right away if my skin is getting irritated or turning red. The scent is totally inoffensive. I tried another brand's gel before this, and while it worked well, the smell was pretty overwhelming. I didn't think scent would matter that much, but honestly, it was really bothersome. I finished the whole thing because I didn't want to waste it, but it was kind of a struggle. With Lazy Society's gel, there's no off-putting smell at all, but it's not like it smells amazing either. It's just perfectly neutral, which is exactly what I want. This is my third repurchase, and those two things are definitely the biggest reasons why. I don't think this product prevents cuts or breakouts any better than others. Cuts are just an unavoidable part of shaving, honestly, and laser hair removal is really the only way around that. Breakouts after shaving are more about how you care for your skin afterward and keeping your razor clean. The gel does get a bit dry and stiff while I'm shaving, so I have to add a little water to keep it going. It's more annoying than you'd think. But at the same time, I don't want to apply too much gel at once because that feels wasteful. Here's a pro tip: after applying the gel, wait a minute or two before you start shaving instead of jumping right in. It feels so much smoother that way. I use this for full body hair removal! I usually prefer foam-free gel-type shaving products, but my sensitive skin tends to react badly every time I remove hair, which worries me. I've tried other brands, but this one seems to work really well for me. Since I use it all over my body, the price can add up, but the value for money is great and it seems perfect for sensitive skin. The scent is pleasant too. This time I ordered their cool-feeling version as well, and it doesn't feel harsh or irritating at all! For body use, the amount of product in each bottle is a bit on the small side. Since it contains soothing ingredients, I don't have to worry about irritation or breakouts.
