What I really appreciated was how versatile it is—when I layer it over a matte lipstick, it transforms into a gorgeous glossy finish, which is perfect on days when my lips feel parched. Plus, one end of the applicator has a smooth, flat edge that makes it easy to apply a fuller coat whenever I want that extra coverage. This product applies so smoothly without any sticky residue, and there's no pilling or flaking whatsoever. I originally bought this to layer over lipstick for extra shine or as a lip balm alternative, and the glossy finish is absolutely stunning. Since I prefer tube or jar-style lip balms that I can apply with my fingers, I love how convenient this is when I don't feel like using my hands. Plus, there are no shimmer particles, so it's lightweight and effortless to apply. My lips feel incredibly comfortable. Because it's a vegan formula, it feels like a healthier choice for my lips, and I haven't experienced any irritation or flare-ups since using it. This is definitely a repurchase item for me when it goes on sale. First, the cap doesn't seal as securely as I'd like. It feels like it could pop open easily even when closed. If it rolls around in my bag while lying on its side, I'm worried it might leak, though I haven't had that problem yet since I store it upright in my pouch. The applicator tip is confusing because one end is silicone while the other has a brush-like bristle texture. I don't understand why they designed it this way. When I apply the tinted side with the silicone tip and then layer oil on top, the tint gets all over the bristle side instead of staying on the silicone. Even after wiping the silicone tip clean before putting it away, it doesn't come completely clean. There's really no point in having two different sides like this. If both ends were silicone, I could wipe it completely clean and store it hygienically, but having just one silicone side makes the whole thing inconvenient and impractical. Honestly, when layering this over lip color, it's more hygienic to just dab some out and apply it with my fingers or a lip brush. I carry a lip brush with me anyway, so I either dab a small amount onto my nail and apply it with my finger, or use the brush. I've never actually used the applicator tip except when applying it directly to bare lips. With darker, more pigmented lip products, if you keep reapplying to cover faded areas, things can start looking messy. In those cases, instead of layering more tint, try applying a sheer lipstick first and then topping it with this oil for a prettier result. I love this product so much because it's free from harmful ingredients, and I was planning to give it as a gift. It's been selling out constantly these days! It's so easy to use and works great for everyday wear. I love how it makes my lips look naturally moisturized and glossy! If you use too much, your lips end up looking overly greasy and messy, like you just finished eating a huge meal without cleaning up.

I'm using it alongside another lip oil brand, alternating between them, and while I can't pinpoint the exact differences, this one feels a bit thinner and more soothing. Even though some colored lip oils can leave my lips feeling dry and cause painful flaking, when I apply this before bed, my lips feel noticeably less parched the next morning compared to nights I skip it, which makes a real difference. That said, a dedicated night lip mask still works better for me at night! It's not overly sticky or suffocating, and considering how hydrating it is, the staying power is pretty solid. Plus, it's completely flavorless and fragrance-free, which makes it so easy to wear during the day without worrying about taste. The tube is generously sized so it lasts forever, and even a tiny amount gives me plenty of moisture. The staying power isn't quite strong enough for nighttime wear, so it's better for daytime, but here's the catch: it gets shiny and transfers easily when I eat or drink anything. I find myself reaching for lighter, fresher lip balms instead, even if they're not as hydrating. During the day I want something lighter, and at night I want something richer, so right now it feels like it's stuck in the middle. That said, once the weather gets colder and the wind picks up, I think I'll definitely reach for this when I'm heading out!

I was really happy with how this oil doesn't feel sticky at all, even though it's an oil-based formula. There's no annoying scent, and the ingredients are solid, so it feels so comfortable and soothing on my lips. The container doesn't seem very durable. It keeps leaking when I use it, and the cap cracked pretty quickly even though I haven't had it for long. If you could improve the packaging, I think this product would be so much better.
