Even though my skin is dry, this applies beautifully and keeps my skin feeling hydrated and dewy for hours. The price point is quite steep, which is my biggest disappointment. I wish the product came in a larger size.

The texture is wonderfully creamy and absorbs beautifully into skin. I love that it comes in individual capsules, making it so easy to control the amount I use each time. Unlike typical repair products, this isn't overly oily, yet it leaves my skin feeling deeply hydrated and firmer. The combination of moisture and that lifted feeling makes this something I'm definitely going to keep using regularly. The capsules don't blend smoothly when mixed with other products. They tend to sit on top rather than melting in, which was disappointing during application. I found the best way to use this is to warm the capsule with your body heat first to help it melt completely, then gently pat it all over your face. One capsule at a time is the perfect amount to apply to your face. Without a spatula, it's really hard to grab or scoop out with your fingers. I love how the round capsule format seems to keep the ingredients fresh and prevents them from drying out or oxidizing as you use it down to the last drop. I used to always apply too much or too little cream, but with this I don't have to worry about measuring and it's fantastic. The spreadability and absorption are both excellent. I don't think I'll repurchase this. For the price, I'm not getting the results I was hoping for, and it just doesn't provide enough hydration for my dry skin. It feels like it has even less moisture than an essence, so I ended up applying an extra hydrating cream right after because my skin felt so tight.

My mom said her skin looked beautifully radiant and wasn't dry, which she really loved. After starting isotretinoin, my skin became deficient in both hydration and oil balance. I'll probably be comparing this a lot to the Dr. G Red Blemish moisturizing cream I used to use. The hygiene aspect is really impressive. Since you dispense it one portion at a time, you can use it cleanly, which I think is the biggest advantage. This hydrating essence and serum work well together, so I'd recommend it for those with dry skin types. The pre-measured portions help prevent over-application. It doesn't flow like water. When you warm it up, it has a thick consistency and absorbs well. I appreciated that it's not sticky. I initially applied it at night, but I found it works better in the morning. I wish it came with tweezers or a clip instead of a spatula for easier application. The capsules aren't that fragile, but I feel a bit nervous every time I use the spatula to extract the product. Compared to Dr. G's version, it doesn't feel like the hydration fully saturates the skin, so my internal dryness isn't resolved. My skin feels tight after applying makeup. I find that picking up each pearl individually with a spatula or applicator is much more hygienic than dipping my fingers directly into the cream. While moisturizing is the most essential function of a cream, this one feels a bit too heavy and dense for my skin. It doesn't absorb as smoothly as I'd like, so I've found I need to pair it with a hydrating essence to really get the nourishing benefits I'm looking for. I think the issue is that these little pearls need to be thoroughly crushed and melted before application to spread properly. The application goes so much better once they're fully dissolved, but honestly, that extra step feels like a hassle during my rushed morning routine, so I've started saving this for my evening skincare instead. Make sure to crush and warm up each pearl thoroughly before applying it to your skin. I felt like my skin improved so much, and I absolutely loved it. My mom also applied it and immediately felt like her skin got so much better, so she's really happy with it too. 2. Since I can take out one capsule at a time, it's really convenient for controlling the amount I use. 1. Since I haven't been using it for very long, I haven't noticed any wrinkle improvement or brightening effects yet. 2. A few hours after applying it in the morning - around four or five hours - I noticed more oil coming through, especially on my forehead and nose area compared to usual. I'm not sure if it's because of this product, but my forehead and nose area are oily, and I've noticed small breakouts appearing more frequently on my forehead. If you have oily or combination skin, I'd recommend skipping this one! The oil tends to come through more than expected, and it can trigger more small breakouts. However, if you have dry skin, this should work great for you since it feels like it's replenishing moisture to your skin.
