I found this product I'd bought before while organizing, so I decided to give it another try. When I used it in summer, it felt heavy on my skin, but now that fall is here and my complexion is drier, it feels so much better than last time. With gel masks like this one, I've noticed that applying it right after toner actually makes my skin feel drier, so I layer on essence and cream first before using the mask. That way, my skin absorbs the base products better, and I love how my skin feels firmer and more plump afterward. I usually use it like a sleeping mask. It's thick, but I can't keep it on until morning—three hours seems to be the maximum for me. The calming line was fine, but this product felt kind of underwhelming. This product is fantastic for keeping skin hydrated and moisturized. The adhesion is excellent, so it stays put on your skin without sliding off. Personally, I'm not a fan of the artificial fragrance. I didn't notice any immediate reduction in fine lines or wrinkles. The price point is quite high, which is disappointing. After cleansing, I apply toner and then apply the mask to my face. I have really dry skin, and even when I leave this mask on overnight until morning, my skin stays completely hydrated with zero dryness! I should mention that I also applied a toner and moisturizing cream before using the mask! I honestly couldn't find anything to complain about! I've tried all three of Labum's gel masks, and honestly, this one is the best of the bunch. It feels so hydrating and refreshing! Just a heads up though—I wouldn't use it as an overnight mask. I usually take it off after about an hour. The sizing is a bit off for me. Even though my face isn't that large, the forehead area feels snug, and overall it seems smaller compared to other gel masks I've used. What's strange is that even though these are supposed to be the same product, the mask size varies from one to another. The fit doesn't feel symmetrical either. I'd recommend using this as a regular treatment mask rather than an overnight one—maybe wear it for a bit longer than a quick session. Even though it's a gel mask, when I peel it off, the watery essence that's been pooling just streams down my face. The essence drips constantly from the sheet, and when I apply it to my skin, it doesn't adhere properly so the mask just slides right off. Because so much essence runs down to the sink, I literally have to apply it right over the basin, and the moment I put it on, I have to lie down flat before the mask slides off... haha what is this even supposed to be?

With a 30-minute application time, it's perfect to use right after showering. After I use it, my skin feels beautifully hydrated and dewy. Following up with my basic skincare routine after the mask feels amazing, and I can really feel my skin looking firmer and more lifted. I don't have any real complaints. The brand seems to run sales promotions pretty regularly, and the duty-free shops offer some really generous discounts. Ugh, the adhesion is terrible... it just slides right off my skin. Plus, it tears way too easily. I honestly can't even tell if it's working. Skip this one and go for Bioheal B instead - that one has an embossed side that actually stays put and grips like it should.

Honestly, I haven't found a mask that compares to this gel mask. Even after just one use, you can feel such a dramatic difference in your skin. It's truly the best! You do need to lie down for 1-2 hours after applying it. The mask tends to slide down your face, which is honestly the most frustrating part. But since that slipping means it's really hydrating, I just lie down right after I put it on. It works great as a sleeping mask! Lie down before the mask starts sliding off. They sell silicone mask covers at the dollar store, and if you use one of those with this mask, it prevents the moisture from evaporating. I'd definitely recommend trying that combo.
