The color is absolutely gorgeous, and I love that it has a slightly velvety texture. It's exactly like the photos show, and it looks so natural even when I apply it over lip balm. This is a deep and mysterious red shade. It seems like it would be perfect for deep undertones. When I first applied it, I thought it might be a bit cool-toned, but it gradually warmed up as I wore it. Even though I'm a cool-toned deep complexion, the color is so beautiful that I keep using it. Since it's from the moisturizing line, it works great for any occasion. There's nothing I dislike about it. I wanted to wear a chili red, but as a cool-tone, this chili red is actually wearable for me. It's truly beautiful! I love that the formula has a slightly moisturizing texture that feels so luxurious. When I layer it on my delicate lips, it looks absolutely stunning. This is absolutely perfect for anyone who doesn't feel confident in coral or pink tones. The color has a beautifully muted quality that feels sophisticated and polished! There's really just one thing—this isn't a matte lipstick, it has more of a dewy, moisturizing finish, so it tends to fade pretty quickly when you eat. You'll need to reapply it fairly often! I have a deep winter complexion, and this has become my absolute holy grail product! The color glides on so smoothly and stays moisturized without needing a lip balm underneath. The staying power lasts way longer than I expected, and it fades beautifully without looking patchy. I'm honestly 100% satisfied! The shade is this gorgeous deep burgundy red that doesn't feel heavy or overwhelming at all. And best of all, it doesn't transfer onto my teeth! I'm so happy with this lipstick and I'd definitely repurchase it. There's really nothing I'd change about it. It looks stunning when I apply it as a full lip color, and it's equally beautiful when I blend it as a gradient. I originally bought it thinking I'd layer it with other lip products, but it looks so pretty and wearable on its own that I don't even need to!

I was totally obsessed with that vampire shade, that deep blood-red color, so I grabbed it right away. In the store lighting it looked like a true crimson, but once I got home it turned out to be more of a brick red. Still, it's gorgeous so I'm happy with it. The color is pretty intense for everyday wear, so I save it for when I want to switch things up and feel different. What I love about it: it has a moisturizing, dewy finish instead of being matte, it applies smoothly and evenly across the lips, and it doesn't settle into fine lines or emphasize texture. The color is absolutely stunning. It's such a gorgeous shade for winter, and if you have cool undertones, you could honestly wear it year-round. This is definitely a holy grail product for me. I have to say, MAC is MAC for a reason—the flakiness is really noticeable. It's not even a matte finish, but the dryness is pretty intense. Though I guess it depends on your skin type. Make sure you exfoliate well before applying. That said, even after prepping, the dry patches still seem to show through a bit. No flaking or buildup, and it applies so smoothly. I love how you can create a beautiful gradient effect by blending it on the inner lid. The color is quite intense, so you really need to be careful with how much you use. It looks best when you apply it with a light tapping motion.

Even with just a light swipe, the color comes out rich and pigmented, and applying it alone instantly brightens up your whole face. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone who likes to keep their look minimal with just a polished lip. In the photo swatches, the deeper shade on the right is Dubonnet, and the lighter one on the left is Brick Ora. After a while, my lips do feel a bit dry, but it's not uncomfortably tight or severely parched. I did notice my lip lines became slightly more visible. It looks beautiful even with a sheer application, and the full coverage option is gorgeous too. The color is absolutely gorgeous in this burgundy shade! I usually go for neutral tones in spring and summer, but this works so beautifully on me. It's exactly the shade shown in the photo when I wear it on my lips! The price is steep, but it's so pretty that I just had to buy it!
