This lipstick applies so smoothly with gorgeous color payoff, and the moisturizing formula feels incredibly comfortable on the lips! The shade is a soft coral-beige with subtle pink undertones, making it perfect for those with deep undertones. It's lightweight and gorgeous, so it's perfect to toss in your bag. The formula applies so smoothly and beautifully. It sits right in the sweet spot between a matte and glossy finish - not quite a true matte, but not as shiny as a full gloss either. It's that perfect in-between that gives you a polished look without being too heavy. I don't usually apply lip color heavily, so I tried layering this over a lip base. But instead of blending nicely, it felt like the colors were mixing together in a weird way, or like the formula was sliding around. It didn't give me that smooth, seamless application I was hoping for, which was a bit disappointing. I'd recommend using this as a standalone lip base, or if you want to layer it, try gently dabbing it over your lip base with a light hand.
