This is absolutely stunning, and the color payoff is incredibly rich and vibrant. I barely experience any staining on my lips, at least in my experience. The staying power wasn't great for me, unfortunately. When I apply it to dry lips, it doesn't look as beautiful, and it tends to fade unevenly, leaving color only at the edges. Is this discontinued? I found it still available on Coupang, so I went ahead and purchased it. It seems like they've done a reformulation and released a new version, but personally I prefer the old version because it has that semi-matte finish with a subtle sheen rather than being completely matte. I made the mistake of buying Ruby U without realizing that the blue undertone didn't suit me at all, and I was really disappointed. After thinking it over for months, I decided to repurchase Chili, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it because it's exactly the look I was going for. I'm not sure if this applies to their other lipsticks, but MAC products have this amazing quality where the color shifts slightly with each layer you apply, which is really appealing. I personally prefer applying it thinly and letting it blend out naturally, and that gives it this beautiful Chili Orange vibe that looks gorgeous. When I apply it just on the inner lip to create a gradient effect, it looks so sophisticated. Even though this shade is a bit dated trend-wise, it doesn't feel outdated or tacky at all. I think it's just a matter of personal taste, honestly. Not really anything major. It applies smoothly and blends beautifully. Once it's on, you get that satisfying, plump feeling. For a lipstick, the staying power is really impressive. Even after exfoliating, flakiness tends to show through after a while. If you apply a generous layer of balm and wait about 10 minutes before wiping it off, then apply the lipstick on top, the dry patches are much less noticeable. You can also apply a sheer tint underneath first, and it helps the color last longer without fading as quickly.

This is exactly the matte, warm-toned red lipstick that Korean beauty lovers are looking for.
