I love this clear red shade! It has such a smooth, non-patchy finish that really works beautifully. I think it would look great on both warm and cool spring tones too. The luminous finish really brings out your complexion and makes your face look radiant. Honestly, there's nothing I'd complain about! It might feel a bit too bright if you wear it in fall or winter, but it's absolutely perfect for creating that fresh, glowing look in spring and summer. This shade works wonderfully on cool undertones too. Before I even got my color analysis done, I found that Ruby Woo felt way too deep for my skin tone, so I went searching for something different and discovered Red Rack right away! 📍Color It's so much brighter and more radiant than Ruby Woo, so it doesn't have that polarizing effect where people either love it or hate it. Plus, the shade is really forgiving with different skin tones, making it super easy to wear without overthinking it! If Ruby Woo is like a bright cherry red, then Red Rack is more like a perfectly ripe raspberry shade. When you apply Red Rack at full intensity, it looks amazing on cool winter undertones, and if you blend it out for a gradient effect, it even works beautifully for cool summer undertones! 📍Application and Color Payoff The pigment density is seriously incredible, and the color payoff is so strong that you get a vibrant finish with just one swipe. Classic MAC quality, right? Plus, it's not one of those crayon-like retro matte formulas that can feel drying. Instead, it has this smooth velvet matte texture, so you don't have to worry about your lips feeling parched or uncomfortable! The only downside, which honestly applies to most lipsticks, is that it doesn't apply as smoothly if you haven't prepped your lips with a lip balm first. But honestly, that's really the only thing I can complain about!

The matte finish is great, and the application is smooth too. I have deep undertones, and I was surprised how well this shade worked for me! I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. + Additional note I wasn't sure why it looked so good on me until I realized I have a cool winter complexion with a very pale skin tone—turns out the palest shades are what suit me best, and this color is perfect for my fair complexion. Honestly, I don't mean to nitpick, but if I had to find something, I'd say it's a bit too matte. I picked up a MAC lipstick at the duty-free shop and I'm so happy with it. The color payoff is fantastic and the shade is absolutely gorgeous. This MAC lipstick has a matte finish, but it's surprisingly not drying or heavy at all. If you have cool undertones like me, this shade might wash you out a bit... the color just doesn't do cool-toned complexions any favors. But if you have deep undertones? This is absolutely your color. It's a classic red that doesn't lean too warm or too cool—just perfectly balanced. The best part is it won't leave your lips feeling flaky or parched, so you don't need any special prep work before applying it. If you love a bold red lip and you have deep undertones, I'm definitely recommending this one to you! Just a heads up—on hot days, this lipstick can melt a bit. This is the perfect cool-toned red lip! When you apply it full coverage, you get that gorgeous cool red, but honestly, I love smudging it out for a softer look - it looks absolutely stunning that way. This is seriously my go-to lip color, I can't recommend it enough! The matte finish makes it tricky to apply and blend, which can be frustrating. I usually just do a quick application and then use a cotton swab to soften and blend it out a bit.

If anything, it feels more moisturizing and doesn't emphasize dry patches, so I'm absolutely obsessed with it. The color is close to cherry red, but it has way less blue undertone than ruby, so I think anyone can wear it regardless of their skin tone. I'm already on my third tube...love it Hmm, it's not really a downside for me, but if you apply it on the inner lips and move your lips around, it'll feather unless you're really careful. But since I actually love that feathered look, it doesn't bother me at all. If you use this as a lip stain and then apply a subtle eyeshadow on top, you'll look absolutely stunning

The vibe is just right! Everyone who tried this shade looked amazing in it. The finish really changes depending on how you apply it. As you can see in the photos, Ruby Red has much more of a blue undertone, while Red Luck gives you that pure, true red feeling! It's not quite as smooth as Ruby Red, but the application can feel a bit dry. There's also some transfer onto skin. Applying it with a brush or using a dabbing motion looks much better than rubbing it on. Since it does transfer onto masks, try applying it once, then gently blotting with a tissue to reduce any smudging.
