I have a cool undertone for summer, so I'm usually drawn to shades with pink tones. However, this lip balm leans more toward red, which isn't quite what I was looking for. I absolutely love how warm and comforting the scent is! The color payoff is so smooth and beautiful, and it applies exactly as shown. The shade stays true and looks absolutely gorgeous! I'm really happy with this product, so there's honestly nothing I'd change about it!

When I layer it, Play With Me gives a pink finish while Venture comes out more red. The feel and texture seem pretty similar though.. Here's the biggest issue: The case started peeling when they changed the packaging. When I zoom in on the photos, the coating gets all crinkled and starts flaking off. It gets all over my hands and then all over my bag. Sometimes it even rubs off on my lips, which is annoying. It's honestly frustrating. I'm so confused about why they changed it like this. The moisturizing effect is fantastic and the color payoff is absolutely beautiful! I'm also loving the scent - it has this lovely buttery fragrance. The color is quite intense, so you'll need to apply it gradually in thin layers to get the best look. I absolutely love how moisturizing and long-lasting the color is! Unlike Dior lip balm, which left a fluorescent tint after application, this product doesn't do that at all. The color comes out beautifully clear and vibrant, which I'm really happy about. I was hoping to use this for both hydration and color payoff, but the shade is a bit too intense for me. I'm someone whose lips get flaky super easily, and I was honestly skeptical. I received this as a birthday gift and decided to give it a try, but wow, this product is absolutely amazing. Before this, the only lip balm that worked for me was Bobbi Brown, but this one is just as fantastic. The shade is subtle and really pretty too. It applies so smoothly and the formula itself has just the right firmness, so there's minimal creasing. The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous, making this a product I reach for constantly. Even with multiple layers, there's absolutely no settling into fine lines. Barely any texture emphasis either. I do notice a slight oily feel, but since there's no stickiness, it has this unique silky, dewy sensation. Since it does have some tinting, when you keep reapplying it, your lip color gets noticeably darker than when you first applied it. I applied this lip balm and was surprised by how pigmented it is—everyone thought I was wearing a full lip color! The shade comes out like a beautiful cherry red, and I'm obsessed with how it looks!! Like I mentioned before, this lip balm is way too pigmented to wear on bare lips without any base. It doesn't work well for a no-makeup look, which is disappointing.
