Great coverage that's easy to use, even if you're just starting out with makeup. The only downside is that the product doesn't come with a mirror. It would be nice if the compact itself had a built-in mirror like some other brands do.

Of course, liquid concealer works better for the under-eye area, but when you're in a pinch, this one product handles everything. Super handy when using a lightweight foundation without full coverage. You can even mix shades to create your perfect color. The previous version had a brighter shade that was easier to work with. The creamy texture means I apply it twice, once before foundation and once after. It blends beautifully, but the staying power isn't the strongest, so touch-ups are needed. The price is a bit steep. It's also quite large for a pouch. From my experience with the older version, I've used my favorite shade down to the silver tin, but the other shades keep going unused. After your base, apply this with your fingers before foundation, then use a brush to go over it once more after foundation to catch any remaining imperfections. Gently press and blend it in with your hands to melt it into your skin for a seamless finish. The coverage feels natural and seamless, and I love how many color options are available. It's also perfect for covering larger areas of the face. It applies so smoothly and gives decent coverage. I also love that there are so many color options to choose from! This might be a bit tricky for beginners to work with... The variety of shades is great, but I'd really only recommend this to people who already know how to use it and have a clear idea of where they want to apply each color.

I just apply it where I need coverage, and it has this lovely moisturized feel with impressive coverage power that blends beautifully with my base. The skin finish is absolutely incredible! I used to wear heavy green and orange correctors, and when I applied foundation over them, the green would show through no matter what. So I decided to splurge on something pricier, and wow, it's genuinely fantastic. Especially when I use it with the brush the MAC associate recommended, the application is flawless. Before, when I'd apply it around my eyes with my base, it would either look thick, feel patchy, or flake off with no real coverage. But this product? None of those issues at all. I can use such a small amount and still get full coverage, so now that my base is cleaner, my skin looks so much better overall! It is pricey, but at least you get a lot of product, so that's something. If you're not sure about addressing specific skin concerns like pigmentation, dark circles, or red blemishes, I'd recommend starting with just one or two shades instead of a full palette. You really need some skill to make all six shades work well together. I noticed that mixing shades made me feel less hygienic about the application, so you definitely need to keep your brushes and palette clean and sanitized regularly. The MAC concealer brush paired with MAC Serum Power Foundation is an absolute match made in heaven. The NC15 shade is so easy to use and blends beautifully. I've seen this color sold as a standalone pot concealer in other countries, which is pretty cool. I really wish they'd sell NC15 as a standalone pot concealer. I can't exactly plan a trip to Japan just to buy this product.
