Since I started layering this powder over my serum, sunscreen, and regular liquid foundation, I've barely had any breakout issues. --- I heard that powder foundation is gentler on sensitive skin, so I decided to give it a try. Troublespot Coverage: I was amazed at how well a powder formula could conceal blemishes. I gently swirl it on with a brush and my breakouts completely disappear. Shade: The color is bright and luminous, giving my complexion a radiant lift. Pore Coverage: It smooths over pores and texture beautifully. Cleansing: My regular Neutrogena acne cleanser removes it completely. No double cleanse needed. Wear: The formula holds up nicely. I was out in the rain for about 6 hours and it didn't break down messily—it just looked more natural. The price is a bit steep, but honestly it's worth every penny. This is the brightest shade, and when you apply it lightly, your complexion becomes noticeably luminous. I picked this up because applying makeup with my fingers felt messy, and I wanted something more streamlined. Using a brush works wonderfully, though I found that a regular large brush applies it too thickly and shows texture. So I switched to a lightweight highlighter brush, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. The powder fallout does vary depending on the brush you use. I love how it gives my face a beautifully matte finish. The included puff makes it way too thick and heavy. You really need a lightweight brush for this. There's noticeable powder fallout, and if you use a stiff brush, the powder goes everywhere. Using a very soft, delicate brush makes all the difference. If you apply it too thickly, it actually emphasizes fine lines and shows every pore and texture, so you need to keep the application sheer and thin. When I was struggling with acne, I heard that powder foundation doesn't clog pores and washes off with just one cleanse, so I decided to give it a try! The ingredients are amazing, so there's really no reason not to buy it. Even though my skin has improved so much now, I know I'll keep using this forever! Even if you have non-oily skin, this powder formula feels incredibly hydrating. I used to get flaking with liquid foundations and cushions, but since using this product, I've never experienced peeling once... it's honestly amazing, right? My makeup routine is so much faster now, and it all comes off with just one alkaline cleansing foam. I really can't recommend this enough to people with sensitive skin! Since I got this product, I'm no longer afraid of doing my makeup, and there's no risk of it looking cakey either! At first, when I apply it, it feels a bit too matte, but as time goes on and it blends with your skin's natural oils, it looks absolutely beautiful. If you have visible pores like me, I'd suggest applying a primer first! Since I have sensitive skin and don't expect perfect coverage anyway, I didn't find this inconvenient. However, deeper discoloration can't be fully covered by this product alone. I had to use a concealer on the darker spots and then apply the powder on top. On days when I used concealer or sunscreen, I made sure to do a second cleanse. For smaller areas like the nose, use a brush for precise application, and for larger areas like the cheeks and forehead, a sponge works best and gives the most seamless finish!

It reminds me of those classic solid foundation compacts our mothers used to wear, but the design is absolutely gorgeous and the mirror is so spacious that it's surprisingly convenient to carry around! The texture is incredibly fine, and the color is beautifully luminous and bright. In the photo, the lighter shade on the right is the 1N00 shade (the actual product color), and the slightly darker shade next to it should be the next lighter option. The application feels powdery yet has excellent staying power. When I apply it to my skin, it feels feather-light and blends so smoothly. Because it sets with a soft, sheer finish, my skin feels comfortable all day. While the coverage isn't super heavy, I find that applying it lightly and then using a pencil concealer to spot-cover works perfectly. The puff and dedicated brush are both great, though the brush gives me a thinner, faster application. I think this would be ideal for anyone with smooth, even skin tone, especially during the summer months. There's definitely a learning curve with this product. Unlike cushion or liquid foundations where you just tap and tap, this requires your hands to get used to the application technique with either the brush or puff. Even though it feels like a finely-pressed powder, it's still a powder foundation at its core, so the more you layer it, the thicker it becomes. Because of powder's nature, it can emphasize texture, pores, and uneven skin, or make your complexion look patchy and uncomfortable. The puff has this wonderfully soft, fluffy surface that feels amazing, but honestly, it's pricey. What's frustrating is that the formula means the puff gets dirty quickly, which is a real downside. Personally, before applying this product to my face, I make sure my base and sunscreen layer are fully absorbed, then I gently tap with a clean puff to create a smooth skin surface. If there's still liquid formula sitting on the skin and I apply the powder with either a puff or brush, it can shift around if I'm not careful. On days when I want extra staying power, I apply a high-coverage liquid foundation with gentle taps first, then use the brush to lightly sweep over just the sides of my nose and cheek areas for a refined finish.
