This foundation is so hydrating and has the most gorgeous luminous finish! I just dab a small amount on and gently press it in with a damp beauty sponge, and the glow just radiates. What I really love is that it stays dewy throughout the day without feeling tight or flaky as time goes on. Layering works beautifully without any pilling or separation. I've tried applying it with my fingers, a brush, and a regular cushion puff, but honestly, a thick damp sponge gives the most beautiful, seamless coverage. The coverage isn't as strong as I'd hoped, especially considering how hydrating it is. A friend even asked why I wasn't wearing concealer because some blemishes weren't fully covered. If you want better results, I'd recommend building it up with multiple thin layers rather than applying it all at once. Redness won't disappear in a single application, so I layer it on thin, building it up two or three times. When I focus on my red areas with a higher-coverage formula, it works even better, so I switch to that for my second and third layers. If you find concealer too drying, try using a more full-coverage foundation in the same shade as a concealer alternative. The key is to prep your skin really well with a solid skincare routine and good hydration before layering your foundation. When you build up your base properly, you'll notice less redness showing through as the day goes on. I like to layer my skincare too, applying multiple thin coats so nothing shifts or moves around. Honestly, this technique works with pretty much any foundation you choose.

I was hesitant about committing to the full size, so I grabbed the mini version first, and I'm so glad I did. The application is incredibly smooth, and when I apply it lightly, my skin looks absolutely radiant! The coverage isn't quite as heavy as some foundations, but that's actually perfect because it feels so lightweight and breathable on my skin. I have combination skin, and honestly, the glow effect is more subtle than I expected, which is exactly what I wanted. I was worried it might look too dewy or shiny, but it doesn't at all. It gives that perfect natural finish without feeling heavy or suffocating. The wear time is a bit shorter than I'd like for a foundation at this price point, and yes, it is quite expensive. - nj****Da hỗn hợpDa mụnĐược đề xuất04/08/2025 (UTC+0)
Creates a naturally radiant complexion that looks effortless, making it perfect for everyday makeup looks The coverage is on the sheer side, so if you have blemishes or redness-prone skin, you'll want to layer it with an additional concealer or foundation for better coverage - bo*******Da hỗn hợp03/08/2025 (UTC+0)
I really love how this formula is lightweight yet looks so natural on the skin I'm disappointed because it doesn't cover blemishes well and tends to slide down throughout the day - pa*********Da dầuĐược đề xuất21/07/2025 (UTC+0)
The adhesion is fantastic and the color looks so natural and beautiful. It barely transfers onto my mask either, which is amazing. While it gives a natural finish, the coverage isn't as strong, so it works better for people with already clear skin. - kh*******Da thiếu nướcBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất10/01/2025 (UTC+0)
I'm back with my thoughts! Make Up For Ever foundation has been my holy grail for years, and when I saw they had a luminous version, I had to try it. Honestly, this brand is just the ultimate destination for foundations. My original go-to was the matte version from the same line, and it's been flawless in coverage, longevity, and how seamlessly it adheres to skin for years now. The only issue was that during winter it felt too dry, so I had to prep my skin really carefully before applying. But this luminous version? I can wear it even in winter without worry. It feels like they took the matte version and added a hydrating boost. Here's what impressed me most: Even though this is the luminous formula, the coverage is just as strong as the matte version. Usually luminous foundations sacrifice some coverage, but this one clearly wasn't willing to compromise on that front. The way it looks on skin is absolutely stunning. The matte version gives that perfectly blurred, poreless finish that looks like your own skin, but this luminous version adds a subtle glow while keeping everything smooth and refined. Both versions have such beautifully balanced shades. They're not too pink, not too yellow, just this gorgeous ivory tone that looks like it was expertly selected. This is truly a well-formulated foundation. If I had to nitpick, the adhesion feels slightly less strong compared to the matte version. Go for the matte version in spring and summer, then switch to the luminous version for fall and winter. Make Up For Ever foundation deserves way more recognition than it gets. - ne******Da hỗn hợpDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toTế bào da chếtĐược đề xuất20/09/2024 (UTC+0)
Usage period: Since July 2024, I've been using it 2-3 times a week for about 2 months, and I've only used about 1/5 of the bottle. Even when I first purchased it, the formula is incredibly thin—when I tilt the bottle like in the photo, the product flows down so quickly that it looks like there's a lot of empty space. Because it's so lightweight, the coverage is sheer, and since it's a luminous finish type, I originally bought it to use as a final layer over my base makeup for my freckle-prone skin. But here's the thing—when I skip the full base makeup and just use sunscreen followed by this product alone, even though some imperfections show through, I actually get better compliments from people around me. Because the formula is thin, it blends so naturally for a seamless tone correction, and the luminous finish makes my skin look dewy and hydrated. I've been getting so many compliments about my skin on days I use this product that it's become my absolute favorite right now. I used to rely on full-coverage foundations because of my blemishes, but I've discovered that using a concealer to spot-cover problem areas and then applying this product works so much better. The adhesion is really strong, and it feels so moisturizing that I'd definitely recommend it to people with dry skin types. I don't think the undertone matters much—cool or warm both work—but I think it would be especially perfect for people with fair skin around shades 17-19 who prefer brighter tones with a hint of pink. Because the formula is so thin, the coverage is quite sheer, so it barely conceals freckles or blemishes. Since it's a luminous finish type, it can feel a bit oily on people with naturally oily skin, and during summer or later in the day it can get a little shiny and might need touch-ups. If you apply it with a brush, you might see brush marks, so I recommend gently patting it with a sponge at the end to blend out any streaks. If you have blemishes, instead of applying a full-coverage foundation all over your face, try using a concealer to spot-cover just the areas that need it, then apply this sheer product all over. This approach actually covers imperfections better while still giving you that beautiful, natural-looking skin finish. - to*********Da hỗn hợpDa mụnĐược đề xuất03/07/2024 (UTC+0)
1. Color Payoff It looks like a tone-up cream in the bottle, but when applied to skin, it delivers coverage that feels like you've applied a full foundation. It doesn't look patchy or chalky, and it has that nourishing, lightweight foundation feel. It's heavier than a tone-up cream but lighter than a standard foundation. 2. Luminosity The moment you apply it, you instantly get a radiant glow on your forehead, nose, and cheekbones. The light reflection is incomparable to matte foundations. I have combination skin that gets dry patches with fine lines, but this feels so nourishing and hydrating. On the oily areas of my face, the glow actually intensifies over time. 3. Shade Selection If you have darker undertones, I'd recommend going one shade lighter. 4. Application When you apply it with your fingers, it can feel thick. However, it does blend out well even with your hands. I'd recommend using a spatula. For brushes, I suggest a densely-packed bristle brush over a flat one. 5. Comparison to Reboot Foundation Reboot Foundation has more hydration, while Skin Glow Foundation has more oil content. 1. Feel on Skin While it doesn't contain pore-clogging ingredients, it's not oil-free, so there can be a slightly heavy feeling on the skin. 2. Beautiful Skin Effect, But Some Drawbacks It has a transparent quality, but because it contains oils, it can create a film-like texture on the skin that might look visually heavy. (I'd recommend using powder in certain areas) This would be perfect for anyone who wants a luminous glow on clear skin. If you're someone who switches between foundations frequently or trying this for the first time, I'd recommend starting with the 12ml size.

It's honestly the most hydrating formula I've ever tried. Unlike Reboot, which feels heavy and I can barely bring myself to use, this one is incredibly dewy without any of that weighted feeling. It's become my go-to product for maximum moisture. I think anyone with very dry skin would absolutely love this, and I bet moms would be fans too! Plus, the shade range is fantastic, which makes it even better. The only downside is that it has quite a bit of shine and can wear off throughout the day, so you'll need to apply at least some powder to make it last through your daily activities.
