This foundation stick matches my skin tone perfectly, around shade 17, so I use it before heading out to even out my complexion. The formula itself is incredibly matte, and it's definitely one of the mattestick foundations I've tried. Since it's a foundation, getting the amount right is really important. While the stick format makes application super convenient, foundations can lay on thick, so you really need to blend it out well with a sponge. Also, I'm not a fan of the scent at all. Which sponge you choose actually affects how your skin looks with this product, so picking one that works with your skin type is key. The coverage is really impressive, and if you apply it smoothly and gently pat it in, it lasts all day and gives you a flawless finish. That said, this product definitely rewards careful application, so how you apply it and how much you use really makes all the difference. The tricky part is controlling the amount you use, and if you're not careful, the makeup can look thick and feel heavy on your skin. Because of this, the final result really depends on who's applying it and their technique.

I absolutely loved how the coverage and color matched my skin so well. It feels like I picked the right shade! 1. Not recommended for dry skin: It looks patchy and flaky. The finish appears dull and uncomfortable. 2. Not recommended for those with clear skin: It doesn't feel transparent and creates a thick, heavy layer on the skin. Rather than adhering closely to the face, it sits on top like a barrier, so I think using a liquid foundation would work better for me. I find it works best when I use just a tiny amount as a concealer alternative. I don't plan to repurchase it. My mom is in her 60s with dry skin and no blemishes, and she loves it, so I think this would be great for anyone over 40 with a cool undertone who needs extra coverage.
