When you use the built-in puff to apply the powder, it really locks down excess oil and keeps your skin looking matte. I usually apply it with a brush for everyday touch-ups, but when I need serious oil control, I just press the puff on and it's absolutely perfect. The scent is lovely. It has a body wash fragrance with floral and fresh citrus notes that just lifts your mood when you use it. On hot summer days especially, that refreshing scent really helps chase away any discomfort and stickiness. Great value for the amount. Most powder compacts come with around 12 grams, but this one gives you a generous 25 grams. You can use it without worrying about running out anytime soon. The packaging feels a bit dated in style. The texture is so fine and smooth that it covers pores beautifully, and the shade looks incredibly natural on skin. I always apply this powder after doing my makeup on my T-zone because it really makes a difference. My makeup lasts so much longer throughout the day, and it keeps excess oil under control, leaving my skin feeling fresh and matte. I've tried tons of expensive products over the years, but I always find myself coming back to this one. It's just that good! The inner lid connection tends to break easily. If you're not careful and flip the lid open too quickly, it will definitely snap off. This is my absolute favorite! The texture is so fine and smooth that it covers pores beautifully, and the color is bright yet natural-looking. Since I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, I do get some shine coming through, but if I set my makeup with a light press at the end, it stays put all day. The inner transparent lid can crack at the connection point if you open it too forcefully. It's a bit fragile. Personally, I'm not a fan of large compacts, so I switched to a smaller size instead. First off, I'm absolutely loving how generous the size is! The puff is so big that it cuts down my makeup routine significantly. The foundation color stays true and finishes beautifully matte and bright. Plus, the staying power is fantastic! This is definitely my go-to powder from now on. I thought since it's bigger than regular powders, there would be more product inside, but honestly it runs out faster than expected. I started using powder foundation during the pandemic, and I really love this product because it has decent coverage. I can just apply it over sunscreen and get that effortless, naturally polished look without much effort. When I try to apply it thinly using a brush, it tends to shift around or clump up on my skin.

I didn't realize that dewy skin could make you look older until I started using this. I guess I really do need to experiment with different products! I only carry a mini bag, so the size is a bit large, but since I don't really touch up my makeup anyway, it's totally fine for me. If you use a brush, it gets patchy, so gently tap it on with your fingertips for a soft, powdery finish. It gives you that baby-smooth skin with pores completely covered and provides great tone correction too. I'm definitely repurchasing this instead of the translucent version!
