The scent is quite strong, but it gives me that aromatherapy feeling just like other reviewers mentioned. The soothing effect is fantastic. My skin texture feels refined, and since it's such a gentle formula, there's no irritation around my eyes or sensitive areas. When I first apply it, my skin looks a bit yellow, which honestly made me nervous, but when I wake up in the morning, I'm amazed at how bright and luminous my complexion looks. There's really nothing bad about it. As long as you store your Martina products in a cool, shaded place and keep an eye on the expiration date, everything works out perfectly. Apply a generous amount before bed, and when you wake up in the morning, you'll see your face looking beautifully radiant. Don't be alarmed if the cream itself has a yellow tint to it. I have really dry skin, and after using this product, I can feel how moisturized my skin feels. My skin has gained such a nice firmness and elasticity to it! Since I don't have sensitive skin, I didn't experience any irritation or breakouts. I used to have oily skin, but now that I'm in my late thirties, my complexion has completely transformed into extremely dry and sensitive skin. When my dermatologist examined my skin, they specifically recommended using only products without alcohol. That's when I discovered Martina Propolis Cream! Like most organic skincare products, this one alone can't completely tackle the dryness, so I layer it with another moisturizer. I haven't experienced any breakouts, and I'd definitely recommend this as a soothing cream for sensitive skin. At first, it feels quite oily and rich, so the texture might feel overwhelming. It's not sticky at all, and I absolutely love the natural scents. Just the fragrance alone feels like I'm getting a therapeutic treatment and it really lifts my mood. Even though it's packed with nourishing ingredients, the texture is so lightweight when I apply it thinly that there's no greasy shine at all. My skin feels so comfortable and calm. I have oily skin, but this rich formula doesn't feel heavy or suffocating on me at all. It's especially wonderful during this dry winter season. I bought it as a set with an eye cream and I'm really happy with how I'm using both products. My skin looks healthier and brighter than before. The jar packaging is my only real complaint. I do appreciate that it's made of ceramic instead of plastic, which is nice. There are some allergenic ingredients listed, but they're not a safety concern for me. I have sensitive skin, but I haven't experienced any irritation or breakouts at all. Since it comes in a jar, I just use a cotton swab to scoop out the product, which keeps everything hygienic and clean.
