I've been consistently using this foundation for about 3 years since I first started, and I absolutely love it! I find cushion compacts tricky and personally uncomfortable to apply, so I prefer foundation instead. When I use a spatula, it spreads so smoothly and evenly across my skin. There's something really satisfying about the application process! If you're looking for a high-coverage foundation without darkening and don't want to worry about touch-ups throughout the day, I highly recommend this. As a student, I wear it from 8 AM to 10 PM without any touch-ups and it holds up beautifully the entire time. But honestly, the best part is that it doesn't cling to my nose! This is the main reason I can't switch to anything else. I have a bulbous nose with deep nostrils, so most products tend to settle in those areas, but this foundation adheres so well that it doesn't budge at all. I genuinely can't recommend it enough. If you use a spatula and apply it carefully, one bottle lasts over a year based on daily makeup application five days a week! The foundation does break down a bit and becomes slightly patchy when it does. However, it's barely noticeable, and if you use it like I do from 8 AM to 10 PM without any mid-day touch-ups or powder, honestly the minor breakdown is totally worth it considering all the amazing benefits this product offers. I just casually layer it using a budget-friendly spatula, powder, and cushion compact. Even when I apply it in two thin layers, the coverage is so incredible that I don't even need concealer underneath. This foundation has excellent coverage and a matte finish that actually looks better as the day goes on and natural oils come through. I'd definitely recommend it more for oily skin types than dry skin types! It's quite dry and matte, so if you don't prep your skin well beforehand, it will definitely look patchy and emphasize dry patches and pores quite a bit. The adhesion is really impressive.... But for dry skin types, it's a bit much. The dry patches keep showing through, which is frustrating. I finally figured out why my skin kept acting up all this time.... I thought it was fine when I didn't wear makeup, so I kept switching my skincare basics and cleansers thinking that was the problem. But after my skin improved, I used this again after a long time and it immediately started stinging and burning. I had to wash it off right away. Even after removing it, the irritation continued. Please don't buy this. Layer it two or three times and you get amazing coverage! The pink base gives your skin such a fresh, radiant glow It does settle a bit around the sides of my nose, which is a bummer. If you have a lot of redness, I'd suggest mixing it with another foundation to get a prettier finish

That said, I think whether I'd recommend it really depends on your personal preference. The hydration wasn't great, and I noticed some darkening happening. I can't really speak to whether it caused breakouts, but I wouldn't recommend this product based on these issues. Perfect for summer wear. I'm shade 22, and it gives me a nice, fresh glow, though it does have a slightly pink undertone. Since I have a warmer skin tone, there's a tiny bit of mismatch, but honestly it still works great for me. Since I have combination skin, I'll probably only use this during summer because it can feel drying. That said, even when I sweat a lot, it doesn't smudge or fade easily. You really need to blend it quickly and tap it in fast, or it'll set on your skin and get stiff. This is a nostalgic foundation that's been a steadfast staple at Olive Young. It offers great value for money and delivers skin coverage that's consistently solid and reliable. The scent was quite strong before the reformulation, so I'm not sure what the fragrance is like now. The FIT ME line sets just as quickly as the SUPER STAY line does. After one pump, I apply the entire amount with a spatula and tap it with a sponge, but here's the key: work on one section at a time, spreading quickly with the spatula, then immediately tap with the sponge. If you wait, it'll set right there on the spot. Once it sets, even if you sweat, the foundation barely transfers or smudges. This product isn't thick either, but compared to SUPER STAY, which applies incredibly sheer, it does feel slightly more substantial. If SUPER STAY feels like wearing a delicate, transparent silk veil, FIT ME is more like a linen fabric. It applies quite thin and sets immediately, so there's minimal transfer. You might think something thicker should transfer more, but it doesn't. That said, it does have decent coverage, so you don't look bare-faced. It looks like you're wearing makeup, but in a natural, matte way. Because this product transfers so little, I apply it all over my face, neck, and arms. The spatula is definitely the best tool for this foundation. Don't worry if your application isn't perfect. Once you've covered the general area you want, tapping with a sponge will fill in any missed spots automatically. FIT ME has more substance than SUPER STAY, but by switching to a different brush, you can make it look just as sheer as SUPER STAY. Depending on your technique, you can go thick or thin, so FIT ME might actually be more versatile. Shade 112 is for cool undertones. When you pump it out, it's a peachy pink. If you apply it perfectly matched to your skin tone, it looks beautiful, but if there's even a one-shade difference, the darker undertone underneath shows through, making your skin look grayish. The disappointing part is that Maybelline New York withdrew from Korea. The products themselves are well-made, but Korea has so many other excellent brands that people tend to stick with local options, so the brand probably didn't generate enough revenue here. That said, I haven't seen another foundation with this kind of fast-setting power. It's truly unique. In Japan, Maybelline foundation and VD's cushion are considered the best for summer makeup and are incredibly popular. It's a shame. Right now, my skin tone isn't uniform across my body. My face has different tones above and below my temples, my neck center matches my face, but my neck creases and back of my neck are almost shade 28 (which is actually an improvement from shade 35 before), and my arms are so different between the inside and outside that I joke it's like Othello. Shade 112 is the color below my temples. I use this shade on my arms and neck creases to even out my face and neck center tones, since the shade difference makes the darkness under my skin more noticeable. Once my overall body tone evens out more, I plan to use it on my body too. If you have cool undertones at shade 23 or higher and use a brightening cream, doesn't it look odd? The white really stands out rather than actually brightening your skin. With shade 21, a brightening cream looks nice, but shade 23 and higher is tricky. If you're shade 23 or higher and want a brighter tone, try using a yellow color corrector first, then go one shade lighter. It'll look less awkward than using a brightening cream. I first tried this in summer and was absolutely thrilled because it didn't budge at all. I usually need touch-ups throughout the day, but with this product, I haven't had to do a single one. The staying power is seriously incredible. It seemed fine at first, but then my skin suddenly started acting up. The color range is really impressive, and it does a fantastic job of blurring pores. The container feels lightweight and convenient to use. While others raved about it, my sensitive skin found it a bit too drying, and I noticed some flaking. I think a solid skincare foundation is essential before using this product.
