This product does an amazing job smoothing out texture and controlling shine. When I use it, my makeup lasts so much longer and the brightening effect is absolutely fantastic! The only downside is the smell - it has a really strong rubber scent that's pretty overwhelming. This is my go-to product! I absolutely love how gentle the formula is on my skin. Highly recommend it! This compact powder is amazing because it controls oil without any fallout. I love that it doesn't leave a white cast or feel drying - it just tackles shine while keeping my skin looking natural. It's a great product for the price and I use it regularly. There's really nothing bad to say about it.

I was honestly surprised by how good it turned out to be! ♥︎Formula The powder particles are finer than I expected. When I rubbed it in my hand, it blended smoothly without any grittiness. Plus, since it's a tinted compact rather than colorless, it gives you a subtle skin tone adjustment too. ♥︎Shade My skin tone is a 22, and when I used the ivory shade, it looked slightly lighter at first. But as the day went on and my skin darkened naturally, the shade ended up matching pretty well. ♥︎Coverage Because it has color, it does offer some coverage. It can handle redness and very light blemishes. However, it won't conceal major breakouts or deep discoloration. Think of it more as a product that evens out your skin tone slightly. As for pore coverage, it's decent. The powder does settle into pores and makes them appear a bit smaller, but it's not dramatic enough to completely blur them away. ♥︎Longevity Honestly, the wear time is pretty average. It holds up fine for about five hours after application, but then oil gradually starts coming through and it breaks down. Still, it's not bad longevity overall. That said, if you don't control how much you apply, the makeup gets too thick and falls apart quickly. Using the right amount is really important! The price point is really reasonable, so I can use it without worrying about my budget. Compared to shade 110 Porcelain, this feels more like shades 22 or 23. I use Porcelain to control shine on my nose, under my eyes, and on my cheeks, then I set the outer areas with shade 120. It's not really for other purposes, but it works great for controlling oil and shine.

I've had my eye on this product for quite a while after checking out the ingredients, and since I'm almost done with my current silk powder compact, I decided to give it a try. * The pore coverage is really impressive. It sets beautifully with a powdery finish. * I'd recommend this for skin tones in the 21-23 shade range. It's not super bright, but it definitely gives a nice brightening effect. * The staying power seems decent enough, though honestly with wearing masks every day because of everything going on, it does transfer a bit. It's hard to say for sure how long it really lasts. There is some transfer with masks. After reading other reviews mentioning the built-in puff isn't great, I haven't actually used it yet. By afternoon, my forehead gets so oily that I usually can't wear foundation or tone-up cream. I decided to try this because of the great ingredients, and I'm so impressed! It really keeps the oil under control all day long. I'm genuinely obsessed with this product! The shade matches my skin tone perfectly too, so I'll definitely be repurchasing this. It doesn't have any downsides. The compact size makes it super convenient to carry around. I wish I could say more positives, but honestly, I'm being forced to write at least 20 characters when there's nothing else to mention... I really care about shade matching, and I switched from Make Up For Ever. I checked the ingredients and reviews before buying, but this foundation feels oddly dark and gives off that heavy, full-coverage vibe from years ago. The shade has an earthy, ochre tone rather than a warm yellow undertone, and even though it's dark, it somehow looks patchy on me. I'm not sure if shade 110 would be better. My skin is around shade 21.5 with warm undertones. In winter, my skin gets lighter and can pull cool tones too. My skin tone is tricky—when I use a slightly darker shade, it looks way too dark, and when I use a slightly lighter shade, it looks way too light. At first application, I thought my skin looked good, but the more I looked at it, the more I noticed it looked muddy, thick, and dull. Total waste of money. It's dark on my skin too. I should have tested it at the store first. Since it comes with a sponge applicator, if you apply it directly, it stamps on heavily. But if you apply powder first and then use the applicator, it goes on much more evenly.

The powder is incredibly fine, so there's zero clumping, and it doesn't leave any greasy or yellow cast. Personally, I'd say it's a shade 120 in brightness. I usually prefer a more natural look, so this one reads a bit too white and bright for my taste. The coverage isn't super heavy, but it does apply beautifully and the staying power is honestly pretty solid for the price point. That said, I do wish it were a bit more affordable - I think it could be priced lower.

The shade blends seamlessly into the skin with a natural finish (perfect for those with fair to light skin tones who love a luminous glow, like shades 22-23). No irritation or breakouts, even for sensitive skin. The compact case with mirror and puff is so practical. I've seen lots of reviews saying the puff isn't great, but honestly, it works just fine. I honestly can't find any real downsides so far. That said, since this powder really boosts makeup longevity, those with dry skin should definitely be mindful about application to avoid a heavy or cakey finish. Now that it's getting drier, I switched from using the puff to a brush, and it fits perfectly with the small portable brush sold at Olive Young. It doesn't close completely flush, but it stays secure and doesn't pop open.
