If spicules or microneedle treatments work well for your skin, this product shouldn't be too bad to use. That said, I do feel like it can be quite irritating to the skin. It's fragrance-free and seems like a product you could try as part of a skincare routine. After using it, I broke out all over my face like I had an allergic reaction, and I got some small bumps and inflammatory acne. I've tried microneedle treatments before too, and I only had an allergic reaction under my chin, so I thought it would be fine. But this time, my entire face had an allergic reaction and the small bumps came up everywhere. My skin completely flipped out. If you have sensitive skin, you really need to be careful. I don't even have sensitive skin, but it seems like spicules and microneedle treatments just don't work for me. My skin type is oily and combination, and honestly, this is the first time my face has reacted this badly to a skincare product, so I'm really disappointed. The mask also dripped down when I was sitting up, so I had to lie down to use it, which was inconvenient. For the price, I really can't recommend it.

When I bought Mediheal toner pads from a beauty retailer before, they said they'd give a gift to the best reviewer, and this mask pack was what I received back then. The regular price is 5,000 won and the sale price is 3,900 won (based on Olive Young prices), so I thought it was worth buying when discounted. The essence shown at the top of the photo has a similar feel to the trendy needle shot treatments. It does tingle a bit—I've tried similar products at different strengths before, and this tingles more than the milder version but feels similar to the stronger one. After applying the essence, you just stick on the gel mask and wait until it becomes transparent. I waited about 40 minutes, and considering that celebrity-favorite gel masks are often left on for hours, I think you could leave this on longer too. The outer layer dries slightly, but the side touching your skin stays moist and hydrated. Once you remove it, your skin temperature drops and you get this wonderfully plump, bouncy feeling. While modeling masks work by sealing in the essence on the surface, this one feels like it pushes deep into your pores and locks everything in. The next day when you do your makeup, your skin looks absolutely flawless. Whenever I have something important scheduled the next day, I always use this. I was disappointed with how the mask applies to my face. It comes in two separate pieces, and since it's gel-based, it's in a runny state when you take it out, so you have to peel away the backing paper while the essence is dripping everywhere. This makes it take quite a bit of time to get it properly on your face. I've honestly never managed to apply it smoothly and perfectly in one go. Everyone's face shape is different, so the application experience can vary from person to person. In my case, when I apply the gel mask, it doesn't stick to the sides of my nose, so those droopy bits around the lips and eyes end up just hanging there. What I do is cut off those loose pieces and stick them on both sides of my nose, then layer the gel mask on top. Used once on July 24th! This sheet mask has such a rich, creamy texture It stings a bit, which probably means my pores are pretty enlarged, right? But it's bearable, honestly. The mask is a little small for my face - I guess my face is just bigger than average! My skin is quite sensitive, so I usually avoid harsh products. I decided to try this one because it had great reviews and the spicule technology seemed really interesting. I was worried since Mediheal products don't usually work well for my skin, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. This review is after using 4 packs. First, the mask has a silicone-like texture that adheres beautifully to my skin without any irritation, which I loved. On the first day, my skin turned slightly red and I wondered if it was too strong, but the results became noticeably clear the next day. My skin felt deeply hydrated and plump, and the texture improved dramatically. The effects seem to last about a week after each use. The downside is that unlike other masks, the eye and mouth areas are attached, so you have to peel them off separately, which is a bit tedious. I use the peeled-off pieces on my nasolabial folds. Also, there are protective sheets on both sides of the mask, so removing them is somewhat cumbersome. While peeling off the sheets, some of the essence drips out, which feels wasteful. The price is a bit steep, but I think it's a worthwhile product if you buy it during a sale. Since my skin is very sensitive and dry, I experience some irritation, so I use this mask once every two months. With this schedule, I'm quite satisfied with the results. After removing the Step 2 mask, my face feels slightly tender, so I gently massage it in to help with absorption. I really appreciate that I can make full use of every bit of the mask without waste, and I love that the formula doesn't drip or slide down my face. As for the results, I'll need to use it a few more times to really see the full benefits. The cream stings a bit when I first apply it, which is a bummer. I think it might just be how my skin reacts to it personally. This is a fantastic overnight mask that leaves your skin looking radiant when you wake up. The formula adheres perfectly to your face and stays in place throughout the night, so you can go about your routine without worry. Great for both dry and oily skin types. Not ideal for combination or sensitive skin. I experienced slight stinging right after application. Unfortunately, the results were underwhelming, which was disappointing. If you have sensitive skin, I'd skip this one. Combination skin (oily T-zone, dry elsewhere, thin skin texture, prone to blackheads) First of all, this really works for tightening pores. I use it as a sleeping mask, and when I wake up the next morning, the results are amazing... There's not much to complain about, except for the price. You really need to catch it during a sale at Olive Young. That said, you can find discounted 10-sheet packs on Naver. This is a two-step treatment product featuring a spicule mask followed by a gel mask. After cleansing, I applied the spicule treatment first, and I was pleasantly surprised—it went on smoothly without the stinging sensation I'd anticipated. My skin tends to be dehydrated with prominent pores, so I purchased this hoping for pore-minimizing results. While I didn't notice a dramatic pore reduction from just one use, after leaving the mask on for about 30 minutes, my skin felt noticeably firmer and more lifted when I removed it. There's definitely a nice tightening effect! I was impressed that even sensitive skin types could likely use this without irritation—the spicule application didn't cause any discomfort at all. The gel mask did slip slightly when I first applied it, but it set nicely within a few minutes and stayed in place, so I could easily go about my day without any issues. Since this is a gel-type mask, I had to be careful when peeling away the backing sheet. The mask itself didn't tear, but it definitely requires a delicate touch during application. The mask size runs a bit snug, so the nose area felt a little short, and there was some gapping around the sides of my nose. Because of that gapping around the nose area, I tried placing the eye gel patch on the sides of my nose instead, and it worked perfectly! If you also apply the lip patch, you'll notice your skin feels noticeably more hydrated and plump after removing the mask.
