I was looking for a vitamin C product to help prevent fine lines around my eyes and dark spots, and I'm so glad I found this one. Since it's a gel patch, it stays moisturizing even when I wear it for a long time. I wish the size was a bit larger, like those sun patches. I've been using this for almost a month now. Not every single day, but maybe once or twice a week? I'm using it mainly for my dark circles, and I have to say it seems to be helping a bit. I'm leaving this review after taking a break from using it for a month because my skin wasn't doing well, and now I'm using it again. First of all, I think the biggest advantage is that there are no harmful ingredients. I bought it hoping the collagen and vitamins would brighten my complexion. Using this product didn't make my skin worse—it's a solid, reliable option. After applying it, my skin feels nicely hydrated and moisturized. I found more drawbacks with this product than positives. When I apply it, a lot of it doesn't blend in smoothly like in the third photo, and it flakes off like dead skin cells way too much. I was worried it would actually clog my pores even more. Even though I wait for it to absorb and pat it down, powder keeps transferring onto my hands. I thought maybe it was because I was leaving it on too long, so I tried shorter application times, but the same flaking happened. That's why I only use it at home in the evenings after cleansing—I skip it on days when I'm doing my makeup. When I first started using it, there was so much essence that it glided on smoothly, but now it doesn't seem to spread or absorb as easily. For sensitive, combination skin When I used this consistently, my dark circles definitely became lighter, and I noticed my under-eye area looked brighter overall. I really appreciated that the patch has a gel formula, so it doesn't dry out quickly. After using it, I didn't experience any irritation or breakouts. I love how generously sized this is! The quantity is great for the price, and the way it fits feels amazing! The liquid formula does cause it to slip down gradually, which is a bit frustrating. I used the retinol collagen product in the brown jar before this one, and I loved how well it adhered to my skin. It stayed in place comfortably for hours without any irritation. Since this is designed for the delicate eye area, it seems like the vitamin C formula has been gentled down to minimize irritation, and it feels really soothing. I alternate between using this with my vitamin C serum and switching to the retinol patch in the brown jar when I use other essentials. I don't expect dramatic results like filling in under-eye hollows from collagen alone, because let's be real, skincare has its limits. What I do notice is that the eye area looks brighter, fine lines feel more plump and hydrated, and I can prevent deeper wrinkles from forming. That's enough for me to keep using it. The size is perfect not just for the eyes but also for the forehead, between the brows, and those stubborn smile lines. When I can't be bothered with a full sheet mask, I just spot-treat these problem areas instead. There's nothing particularly difficult about using it, but when essence is left on my face, it does feel a bit sticky, though not as much as the brown jar version. It's not ideal to use right before applying makeup. When you apply the patch, it gently lifts and supports the skin around your eyes, which actually prevents wrinkles from forming in the first place. While the patches do feel hydrating, I honestly can't tell if they're doing much for fine lines and wrinkles. I love keeping these in the refrigerator before use. When my eyes are puffy in the morning, the cold patches help reduce the swelling beautifully. Plus, during hot summer days, the cooling sensation feels amazing and refreshing.
