I'm really happy with this gentle morning cleanser. I was wondering if it actually removes oil buildup well, but after cleansing, I can tell it's mild without over-stripping my skin. I'd recommend using this on days when you want a gentler, softer cleanse rather than deep cleaning. Even though I have sensitive, acne-prone skin that needs a pH-balanced formula, I haven't experienced any breakouts. I'm satisfied that I can use this pH-balanced foam cleanser without triggering any skin issues. I do wish I could use it on days when I've applied a rich cream that leaves my skin feeling heavy, or when oil has built up overnight. Sometimes after cleansing with this product, my skin still feels a bit slick from the rich cream I applied the night before. When a cream doesn't absorb well and feels thick and heavy even in the morning, it usually means dead skin cells have accumulated, so I switch to using an oil or a slightly alkaline cleanser instead. When a cream still feels thick and heavy on your skin in the morning, it's usually a sign that dead skin cells have built up. In those cases, I either do an oil massage in the morning or use a slightly alkaline cleanser to get a fresh, clean base. I can see my overall skin texture improving. However, it doesn't work for my skin type and caused some serious puffiness that I wasn't expecting. This gave me the worst reaction I've ever had. My skin puffed up, especially around my eyes. I'm wondering if the ingredients just don't agree with my skin. It's strange because all the reviews online rave about it, but my experience has been completely different. I used three pumps and got this incredibly foamy, bubbly texture. A little goes a long way with this product, so you really don't need much.
