This eyeliner is such a steal! It looks natural while delivering gorgeous color payoff. It's seriously become my go-to favorite! I honestly can't think of anything I disliked about this product.

It's not too dark and doesn't have that yellow cast, so it's just right. Because it's so slim, it's fantastic for creating sharp, defined tails. Personally, I think pencil liners absolutely need to be this slim to work well. I haven't tried lining the waterline, so I can't comment on that. It's also great for drawing beauty marks. The slim tip and brown shade create such a natural-looking mark. The staying power is excellent—it doesn't smudge and lasts all day. It just won't draw on my eyes for some reason. It works perfectly on my hand and face, but it mysteriously won't apply on my eyelids. I ended up switching to a gel liner. When I remove oil from my skin, the eyelid gets pulled and nothing shows up. If I don't remove the oil, it won't draw at all. It was so frustrating having to struggle with my eyeliner every single morning. Now I only use it for drawing beauty marks. Since it's extremely slim, only pull out about 2mm when using it. Never drop it—it breaks easily. When drawing, gently stretch the eyelid skin slightly. I've lost count of how many I've repurchased. Application: This pencil liner glides on so smoothly and the wing is easy to create. The staying power is seriously impressive! Longevity: I do my makeup early in the morning, and while my eyeshadow fades by midday, this liner stays put the entire time. Smudging: If a little oil builds up around my eyes, there's some minor smudging, but honestly, a quick swipe of a clear eyeshadow or powder to set it takes care of that. It might be tricky for beginners though. I lent it to a friend and she mentioned it was a bit challenging to draw with. If you're trying eyeliner for the first time, I'd suggest starting with this brand's brush pen version first. But if you're already comfortable with eyeliner application and you're hunting for something that won't budge no matter how much you sweat, this is absolutely the one to grab. First of all, the most important thing—smudge resistance—is absolutely excellent. Once it sets, it holds up great against physical contact and tears. I'm not sure how it handles oil yet, but I'll update that when summer comes around. Other than that, I love how the pencil tip is thin and easy to apply. The color is a dark brown, almost black. There's also a lighter brown option called 'Brown Quartz' that looks great, but honestly, the quality is fantastic regardless of which shade you pick, so I'd definitely recommend getting it. If you grab the Daiso version, it's even cheaper. The packaging is red, but the product inside is exactly the same. No downsides at all. The only thing is the core is short, so you go through it pretty quickly? But considering the price, everything's totally fine. I want to stock up on like 10 of these. ***Update after using 3 of them*** Okay, scratch that—there ARE downsides. It's thin and soft, so it breaks really easily. It's worse after you open it—the longer you have it, the more it snaps. Some are fine, others break constantly. It really depends on which one you get. It's thin and soft, so maybe that's why? This is my third purchase. It applies smoothly and creates beautifully thin lines. It's perfect for filling in the waterline too. Since it's a gel eyeliner, it does tend to smudge quite a bit. The price point is quite affordable. When sales come around, you can grab it at an even better deal, so I'd recommend waiting for promotions. Plus, the formula is incredibly lightweight and thin. It breaks way too easily, so the durability isn't great. On top of that, there's a lot of powder fallout, which is really frustrating. By the way, they've released a merge eyeliner at Daiso, so I'd suggest testing it out there first before committing to a full purchase.
