I completely finished the entire jar and loved it! This is truly a gentle, lightweight moisturizing cream that absorbs beautifully without feeling heavy. The formula itself is so mild and non-pore-clogging that it pairs wonderfully with other skincare products. I'd recommend it for all skin types. I was initially worried since I have extremely dehydrated skin and didn't want it to feel suffocating, but I've been doing sheet mask treatments lately as an intensive solution. This cream works amazingly under sheet masks without causing any irritation, and it hydrates so effectively. My skin looks noticeably brighter and my skin barrier feels stronger. During the day when I can't do sheet masks, I seal everything with Vaseline as a final moisture barrier. While this cream provides hydration, it doesn't lock in moisture quite like Vaseline does. That said, this isn't an overly heavy cream, and honestly, no heavy cream can prevent moisture loss the way Vaseline does. Since I'm someone who applies pomade creams or gel moisturizers and still finishes with Vaseline, this might just be my personal preference, but I wanted to share that perspective! In terms of product quality, there really aren't any downsides. It has a formula close to a soothing cream, but when you apply it, it's surprisingly rich and substantial. You get that wonderful feeling of a moisture barrier forming! Apply it before bed and it stays on your skin right through the morning. I'm really satisfied with this product. It has excellent moisturizing power and is gentle enough to use daily. I purchased it through a shipping deal and was pleasantly surprised to discover it's the same product sold at department stores. It's made with rice bran extract, and I can definitely see the brightening benefits. I also love that it doesn't feel heavy or cakey when I apply my makeup over it. There's really nothing disappointing about it. If I had to nitpick, the only thing is the price point.
