I love mixing these two shades together for my eyebrows - the color match is absolutely perfect! And when I want a lighter eyeliner look, I first draw a bold line with the deeper shade and then apply the eyeliner on top, and it looks stunning! I love that this kit comes with two shades in one package, and I'm really happy it includes a brush too. It works beautifully as an eyeshadow! There's a bit of powder fallout, which is a little frustrating. The brush that comes attached to the cap doesn't have firm bristles, which makes application tricky. The staying power isn't great either, so the color fades pretty quickly throughout the day.

The color payoff is excellent, and since I have fairly full brows, I love using it to fill in the gaps between hairs. The brush is solid quality too. I also use it to tidy up my hairline, which works perfectly. Sometimes I even use it as an eyeliner smudge guard, and it works great for that as well. I wish there was a shade lighter or darker to choose from. I keep finding myself reaching for one side more than the other, which is a bit annoying. That said, the price is so affordable that I can't really complain. Creating a tapered tail can be a bit tricky with this product, so I'd recommend using it together with a pencil-type brow product for best results.

Since I don't have a separate shading product, I experimented with blending these two colors together, and honestly, it worked better than I expected! The powder does kick up quite a bit, and the color payoff feels a little weak. Plus, the brush is kind of scratchy on my skin, and I might just not have the technique down yet, but I'm having trouble drawing thin, precise lines. I love how portable this is, and it's so versatile! I use it not just for eyebrows but also as an eyeshadow, which makes it even better. The powder tends to kick up a lot of dust, and after using the brush for a while, it starts to clump. Plus, as time goes on, it feels like my eyebrows are gradually fading away.

I was originally planning to buy the Skinfood version, but since there wasn't one nearby and I didn't feel like traveling far, I grabbed this from Nyx instead, and I'm absolutely loving it! The built-in brush is a bit short, so it's a little tricky for me to apply with precision. I usually use a stick-style eyebrow product like Mona Lisa, and I always end up with gaps between my brows. But with this product, I can fill in those spaces so much better! I also use it as an eyeshadow, and the darker shades work great for defining my eye area too. It's such a convenient product to keep in my bag for touch-ups throughout the day! I remember it being almost ten dollars, but I feel like there are cheaper options with better quality at other beauty retailers.
