The case has this gorgeous soft lavender shade that looks so fresh and cool! The texture feels a bit more fluid compared to Perfect Fit? It takes a little longer to absorb than Perfect Fit does. The application is definitely silky smooth though! I can't really detect any darkening effect, but I love how the ultramarines blue pigment gives my skin this radiant, sun-kissed glow! I've been using this for six months now, and I'm really happy with it. The coverage is moderate, but what I love most is how smoothly it blends and adheres to my skin. Since I have a fair complexion, the shade matches my skin tone perfectly. I usually mix it with a white concealer or BB cream, and it works great that way. I'm not sure if it's because my skin wasn't in the best condition at the time, but I did notice some breakouts appearing mainly on my cheeks. Overall though, it's a solid product that does the job. The coverage is great, but it makes my skin look too heavy and thick. The tone-up effect feels forced and unnatural. Heavy, unnatural-looking skin finish with an awkward color correction. I usually wear shade 21, but I picked up shade 19 in ivory and I'm really happy with it. The color isn't too bright—it's just the right amount of luminous and fresh-looking. I was thinking about getting the recommended brush, but I ended up using a sponge to dab it on instead. The formula is so lightweight and blends beautifully, and once it sets, it gives off this gorgeous semi-matte finish. In winter, you just apply it over a solid base and you're good to go. I haven't tested it in summer yet, but I'm a bit worried about how it holds up since the staying power isn't the strongest. The coverage is pretty sheer, so I have to use a separate concealer, and as time goes on, it really emphasizes texture and pores. Because of the coverage issue, I've found that applying it with my fingers instead of a sponge and then misting it with setting spray gives a much more natural-looking finish to the skin. It applies beautifully thin and gives really nice skin coverage. The price point is so reasonable that you're getting amazing value for your money. The way it breaks down isn't the most flattering. When combined with powder, it tends to emphasize texture and pores a bit too much. I barely use powder, and when I lightly layer this semi-matte cushion on top, it stays looking gorgeous with that subtle luminous finish. When you apply it with a water-dampened sponge, it goes on incredibly sheer and seamless. Your skin looks so radiant and the color is absolutely gorgeous. If you cry or get emotional, it leaves visible marks. The wear time isn't the longest-lasting either. Use a water-dampened sponge and a spatula for application.
