I started using this once I noticed a few gray hairs popping up here and there. I went through one bottle, and while the color deposit is subtle, it does work. The downside is that my hair feels a bit stiff afterward. I left it on for over 3 minutes and rinsed thoroughly after shampooing. The sample of Zero Grey Black Shampoo I tried gave me much more noticeable results, so I'm planning to buy that next. My plan is to alternate this with my regular shampoo every other day, and I'm going to focus more on using a hair treatment to keep my strands in better condition. Both products leave my hair feeling a bit too stiff, which is disappointing. My gray hairs turned brown, but my hair became really stiff, so a treatment is absolutely necessary. At first I used it every day, but once I felt like my gray hairs were covered enough, I switched to using it every other day with my regular shampoo, which seems better for protecting my hair. A hair mask also really helps with this.

I loved how effortlessly it deepened my hair color with such a natural finish. While it worked fine, I got nervous when I heard concerns about the ingredients.

This root touch-up product has been incredibly helpful. I didn't even feel the need to do a full color treatment, which is great! I'm concerned about the controversy surrounding potentially harmful ingredients... I really hope this gets cleared up soon.
