It doesn't leave residue on my hands. As for the results, I'm not entirely sure yet. You can find it cheaper on Coupang, and compared to other color-correcting shampoos, the price point seems pretty reasonable. It's supposed to neutralize yellow tones and adjust color, but honestly, I don't see any of that happening. The shampoo formula feels really dry and tight, which means I end up spending more time washing my hair. When I first pump it out, there's purple mixed in, but by the second and third pumps, the purple color disappears. It's inconsistent, like some powder settles at the bottom and comes out unevenly. I was looking for a color-depositing shampoo with gentle ingredients and no staining on my hands, so I decided to try the Modamoda product. Even though it's a color-depositing shampoo, it lathers beautifully and is really easy to use. It honestly doesn't seem like it would stain your towel. No staining This is honestly the biggest win for this shampoo. Most color-safe shampoos I've used before would leave tint marks, but this one doesn't do that at all. Though I did notice the color looks a bit darker when it's exposed to air for a while. Results I have medium-toned brown hair, and I get gray hairs plus I color my hair pretty frequently. My color isn't super vibrant, so I wasn't sure if a color-safe shampoo would even make a difference. I can't tell if it's just my imagination, but it does seem to slow down the fading a bit. I haven't used it long enough to say for sure, but I'm definitely planning to keep using it. Price point The price is a bit disappointing. Hair texture It works great for my extremely oily hair, but my family members who tried it said it made their hair feel stiff. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant, so there's no unpleasant smell at all. Second, I used to go through an entire bottle of color-depositing shampoo from another brand, and it would always stain my hands and nails. But this one doesn't leave any marks. Third, the formula is honestly the best I've seen in color-depositing shampoos. Fourth, while the packaging is quite large for the amount of product, it comes with a refill pouch inside, which makes it super convenient to refill and great for recycling. As for the drawbacks, first, this isn't specifically designed for gray hair coverage, so when I used it on my gray roots, the color-depositing effect was pretty minimal. I later discovered that Modamoda actually has a separate gray hair shampoo in yellow, so I'm planning to get that instead. Second, since I have short hair, after using this product my hair felt quite stiff. The longer I leave it on, the stiffer it seems to get. My husband with short hair says it's fine for him though. Third, I feel like I'm experiencing more hair shedding. My husband with short hair doesn't notice that issue.

My hair tends to fall flat easily, which stresses me out, so I usually rely on blow-drying to add volume, but during summer it gets oily and matted quickly. While it's not a complete miracle in hot weather, the volume definitely lasts noticeably longer. Some people might find their hair feels a bit stiff, but I actually loved it. And if the ends do feel a little rigid, just apply some hair essence and it's completely solved. 3. I'm so happy that it doesn't stain my face or hands. Especially when it comes to nail staining, there's usually no solution, but this product doesn't leave any color, so I can use it with complete peace of mind. The packaging was disappointing. It's possible it was just the unit I received, but the dispenser opening came damaged. I still tried to use it, and when I pumped, the product came out from the inside rather than the opening, which made it tricky to use at first. I eventually managed to fit it together properly and make it work. If you're sensitive to fragrance, this might not be for you. The scent doesn't linger strongly on your hair after shampooing, but during cleansing there's a sweet honey-like fragrance that just didn't work for me. I don't love when my hair feels stiff, but I actually like that stiffness at the roots for volume, so I started applying hair essence or leave-in conditioner just to the ends, and it turned out amazing. The lather is wonderfully creamy, but sometimes it can feel a bit tight, so I started dampening my hands with a little water between pumps to add more slip. This made the lather even better and let me cleanse without any tightness.
