At first it feels firm, but as you apply it, it melts beautifully and glides onto your lips so smoothly. The formula works more like a traditional lipstick than a moisturizing balm, which is perfect! It has this lovely powdery, velvety texture. I also really appreciate the meaningful packaging design. The applicator mechanism is a bit awkward to use, to be honest. When I store it upside down, a little bit of the lip balm tends to come out. But once you get used to it, it's totally manageable. If you're thinking about the environment, this product alone is worth using.

This is my holy grail lip balm. I love my usual nighttime balm, but this one glides on so smoothly and feels amazing. Plus, I'm obsessed with the beautiful plastic-free packaging. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that there's a lot of product, but honestly, that's not really a con. I actually love how easy it is to apply with just my fingers. I'm really happy with this product! The ingredients are so gentle and my sensitive skin loves it. The packaging is really inconvenient. The product doesn't dispense by twisting the container like I expected. Instead, I have to manually push the product back down into the container with my fingers before I can close the lid. It's such a hassle every single time I use it.

The recessed design means the product crumbles and breaks at the edges every time I try to apply it. Light and refreshing texture As someone who applies lip balm constantly throughout the day, I really can't stand heavy formulas. Especially when I'm eating or drinking coffee, heavy lip balms feel greasy and leave an uncomfortable film on my lips. But this one has such a lightweight feel that I can eat without worrying about it, and it applies so smoothly! Stays put overnight I'm the type who generously applies lip balm before bed, and I was thrilled that even though this formula is lightweight, it actually stays on my lips all the way until morning. If you hate thick lip mask formulas but still want your lips hydrated while you sleep, I'd recommend using this every single night!
