Packaging Design and Applicator True to Rainbow Mansion's tint aesthetic, this features a paintbrush-inspired shape. Unlike the Objet Liquid, it has a semi-translucent appearance that really captures the water-to-blur formula beautifully. The applicator has plenty of soft bristles with a firm feel, and because it's cut at an angle, the tip is quite pointed. Please be careful when applying! Fragrance It has a refreshing, cool scent that feels invigorating. Texture and Color Payoff This water-to-blur formula applies with a watery consistency and sets into a soft, blurred finish. The powdery finish is fantastic because you don't have to worry about smudging or transferring. My only wish is that it had less of a patchy application tendency. Longevity and Staining Once it sets, it really adheres like acrylic paint and barely budges throughout the day. The wear time is genuinely impressive. However, it doesn't leave any staining, which is great for cleanup. Color This is a mysterious mauve pink with a distinctly grayish undertone. I'd especially recommend it for those with cooler skin tones, and for warmer skin tones, it works wonderfully as a base layer. Drawbacks and Important Notes Because patchiness can occur, make sure to gently prep your lips with a tissue before application. After applying, avoid talking or moving your lips while it's setting. If patchiness does happen, simply dab gently with a tissue and it'll smooth right out. Pro Application Tip Try using this as a base, then layer a foundation or concealer on top, followed by your favorite lip color (especially matte formulas). This tint is absolutely gorgeous and leaves your lips with such a soft, velvety finish. I'd definitely recommend it for those with lighter undertones! I don't really have any complaints—I did use up the entire product. That said, I haven't repurchased it yet, but I'm not ruling it out. I loved how it applied smoothly on first use without feeling dry or tight, almost like a lightweight, water-infused formula that glides on effortlessly Application thickness is really important with this one - if you apply even slightly too much, it sets with noticeable flaking and really emphasizes fine lines and creases. I was honestly pretty worried about whether it would be too cool-toned since I have a neutral cool complexion. Just looking at it with the naked eye, it screams bright pink! There's even a hint of purple in the packaging. But at 3,500 won, I figured why not give it a shot? Honestly, I ended up really loving it! For the original price point, the formula quality is genuinely impressive, and let's be real, Rainbow Mansion's packaging is absolutely gorgeous. Plus, the applicator is so thin and precise that every single time I use it, the product applies in a perfectly even line. I'm obsessed with that detail. And the scent? Most tints these days have this heavy, overly sweet fragrance, right? Brands like Rom&nd, Pia, Dinto, Peripera, pretty much all of them. But Rainbow Mansion's scent is something I'm genuinely thrilled about. It's not a weak fragrance at all, but here's the thing, it's strong without being heavy or cloying. It has this fresh, cool rose scent that honestly makes me happy every time I apply it. Did I mention fresh? That's the key point here, absolutely not heavy or overwhelming. I also have their Objet Liquid Tint, and the scents are completely different. The liquid version has that heavier, sweeter rose fragrance, but the water tint is genuinely fresh and not sweet at all. The color is definitely cool-toned, but it's not like a full-on bright pink or magenta situation. It's somewhere between a my-lips-but-better shade and cool. It leans more toward the cool side, so just keep that in mind. The shade isn't particularly bright, which I actually appreciated because I'm someone who looks a bit outdated when wearing super bright, vibrant colors. The camera has a hard time capturing the true color, which is interesting. Since this is a mid-range product, if you're not scoring it at the 3,500 won price like I did, definitely swatch it in person before buying. The color payoff is excellent for a water tint formula! Even when I applied multiple layers, my lips stayed comfortable and didn't feel heavy or sticky, so I found myself reaching for it constantly. I did feel like the quantity was a bit on the small side. While it works fine on its own, if you have foundation or other base products on your lips, it won't blend smoothly—it tends to clump and create visible lines instead. So if you're someone who likes to set your lips with foundation first and then apply tint on top, I'd say this might not be the best choice for you.

As the name suggests, this has a lightweight, water-like texture. Like other products in the same line, it's perfect for cooler seasons. While it does have color payoff, the soft pink tone isn't too bold or intense. It's a great everyday pink that works beautifully. Even though it feels watery at first, it dries quickly, so it doesn't leave your lips feeling dewy or moisturized. It actually has more of a matte finish, which I really love. Since I'm a fan of matte lip products, I'm personally very satisfied with this. Because it dries almost immediately after application, it won't feel hydrating, so if you have dry lips, you might not enjoy it. Since this product does stain, if that's something that bothers you, it could be tricky to use. Here's a helpful tip: if your lips are feeling dry, apply this product and let it set, then gently layer a lip balm or lip oil on top. This way, you'll get both the color payoff and that moisturized feeling you're looking for.
