I prep my lips with this before applying tint, and the color goes on so evenly and beautifully! It also smooths out fine lines really well, which I absolutely love!! I've been using this for 6 months now since I bought it, and I'm absolutely loving it! I have deep undertones, so normally any lip color I apply just turns into the same dark pink shade on my lips. But with this as a base, I can layer other lip products on top or use it to add dimension and get that luminous finish I'm after. Honestly, I'm such a sucker for nude lips that I often wear this alone without anything else. It covers my lip line beautifully, and even though it has a matte finish, it doesn't feel dry at all. No flaking, no patchiness—just perfection! I have naturally darker lips, but when I apply this and then layer another product on top, the tint's true color really comes through beautifully. It doesn't get completely swallowed up by my natural lip tone like other products do. You really need to exfoliate and prep your lips well before applying this. This works wonderfully as a lip base! Once I started using it, I can't apply tint without it anymore. When I layer it and apply another tint on top, the color payoff becomes even more beautiful. If you have a warm undertone, you absolutely have to try this tint - it's seriously amazing! Even though it's technically a base lip tint, I find myself wearing it alone and it looks so complete. I'm already on my third tube! After a while, it does start to fade unevenly and I notice the dry patches become more noticeable, which is a bit frustrating. The color wasn't too intense and looked really natural. The lightweight, powdery formula still provided decent coverage where I needed it. Don't expect full, flawless coverage with this one. That said, it's still easy to carry around. The applicator has a pointed tip, which makes it perfect for creating an overline effect on the corners of your lips. - Shade: In the photos, I applied it thickly, but when you wear it sheer on your lips, it's a soft, muted sand beige with just a hint of white undertone. This neutral shade is perfect as a base color—it neutralizes your natural lip color while prepping your lips so that any color you layer on top shows up beautifully. Overall, I think this product is really solid! If you love a natural, barely-there lip look, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try. Plus, since there's a subtle brown undertone mixed in, it works wonderfully as a base shade for anyone with deeper skin tones. One thing to note: it does have a rose scent! If you're sensitive to fragrance, this might not be for you—it's definitely a personal preference thing. I'm not usually bothered by scent, so it was fine for me. I absolutely recommend this warm-toned base lip product! My lips are naturally quite pigmented, but when I apply this with a gentle press and layer it with my lip tint, the whole look comes together beautifully. I'm really happy with it. I've been searching for the perfect nude lip shade, and this one is ideal because it's not too dark. Since it has a matte finish, there can be some tugging and pulling when you apply it. You really need to make sure your lips are well-moisturized before using it. Even with good prep, you might notice some dry patches or texture showing through as time goes on.
