Shade 23 in dark didn't work for me at all, but it looks absolutely stunning on my warm-toned mom! This color seems like it would only look good on people with warm undertones. I have a deep undertone and this shade looks absolutely stunning on me! It looks great even without any base makeup, and since the formula has decent ingredients, I decided to give it a try. Just like other reviewers mentioned, this shade is absolutely gorgeous! It has that perfect autumn vibe with a toned-down rose tone that feels so sophisticated and elegant. No wonder it's such a popular color! When I wear it alone, it feels a bit muddy to me, so I'm hesitant to use it for everyday wear. But when I pair it with a nude shade, it works beautifully! The color payoff is so natural and beautiful! I love how I can layer a brighter, deeper shade on top to create a really stunning gradient effect. The brick rose shade is so rich and deep that it really brings out the vibe when you apply it. I did notice some flaking and dry patches. Since this has a matte finish, if you have naturally dry lips, I'd recommend applying a lip balm first to lock in moisture before putting this on. It's great for everyday wear.
