My personal color tone is light undertone. The shade is absolutely gorgeous. It's not overwhelming even when applied as a full lip color. When I blend it as a gradient, it's truly the perfect my-lips-but-better shade. The application is incredibly smooth and blendable. I can swipe it on my cheeks and tap it with a sponge to use it as a cheek tint too. Nothing, honestly nothing at all. This silky lip color has become my daily essential thanks to its smooth texture and that gorgeous, one-of-a-kind pink shade that I'm absolutely obsessed with. I wish I could try all the other beautiful colors they offer, but I'm really disappointed they're hard to find now. It's perfect for spring, so I keep it in my makeup pouch and carry it everywhere these days. The formula is fantastic, which is why I'm so upset it's been discontinued. The color payoff is incredible—apply it heavily for a fuchsia-toned look, or go light for a delicate, soft pink finish. Since the shade blends pink, coral, purple, and red tones together, it's beautifully complex and works with almost any skin tone. I have deep undertones as my first choice and light undertones as my second, and this works wonderfully for cool-toned skin. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with warm spring undertones who wants to experiment with cooler shades! The main downside is that it's been discontinued, so it's nearly impossible to get, which makes it hard to explore other shades. I really hope they bring it back. I also wonder if the soft formula, which can transfer onto masks, might be why it disappeared during the pandemic. That said, despite how smooth the texture is, the transfer isn't actually that bad, and it stays put on the lips really well. This is such a versatile product because the intensity changes depending on how much you apply—you can go from an effortless everyday look to a bold statement lip. Color and Pigmentation What I loved most is how the color shows up beautifully and true-to-shade, regardless of your natural lip color! The shade is a rich, warm-leaning pink that works wonderfully for both warm and cool undertones. I'd especially recommend it for those with deep undertones and bright skin tones! I also think it would look great on cool-toned, bright complexion folks too. Longevity Mamonde's crayon lipsticks aren't water-based, but they have amazing staying power that I absolutely adore! Moisture I could definitely feel that the hydration is even better compared to the previous collection! Design I really appreciated how the color is displayed across the entire tube, making it super easy to see the shade at a glance! Like most crayon-type and traditional lipsticks, there is some transfer that happens - it's not completely transfer-proof. This MLBB shade works beautifully without feeling too cool-toned or overwhelming. I picked it up when Mamonde lips were all the rage, and I've genuinely loved wearing it. It works beautifully as a base layer, and you can also build it up for a complete lip look with just this one product. The color is absolutely gorgeous. It's disappointing that you can't tell the difference between this shade and other shades just by looking at the containers. The ingredients are gentle and work well for my skin, so I keep using it. The amount is so generous that I've been going through it for years. I think I'll need to buy a new one soon. It has a matte finish but doesn't last long at all. The color payoff is almost nonexistent, so there's barely any tint left on my lips after eating. If you love touch-ups and don't mind reapplying throughout the day, this could work for you. The Good Stuff… Just buy it, seriously buy it! I'm on my third purchase and I've recommended this to so many friends. This is genuinely a product I keep coming back to. I have cool undertones, and if you're cool-toned like me, the moment you apply this lip color, your makeup just comes together perfectly. The shade is absolutely gorgeous—it's exactly the color I've been searching for. Not too bold, not too subtle, just that perfect lip color that hits all the right notes. The Downside… Honestly, I had to really think hard to find something to complain about because there's barely anything wrong with it. If I absolutely had to squeeze out a downside, it would be that the staying power isn't quite as long-lasting as I'd hope. But seriously, that's the only thing—everything else is fantastic. If your lips tend to get dry, apply a lip balm or a bit of petroleum jelly first, then go ahead and use this. It applies like a crayon, so when you use a light hand, smudging is super easy. On me, it shows up as this gorgeous rosy pink shade. If you have a light undertone like me, applying it with a full lip can look really off... honestly, whether you go overline or not, it's going to smudge no matter what. If you apply a lip balm for about ten minutes and then wipe it away with a tissue to exfoliate, it actually looks really pretty when you apply it. But if your lips are flaky, it won't look as nice. Recommended for those with light undertones. If you take care of your lips and apply it lightly, it looks beautiful. And just so you know, this is a matte lip tint. It's not one of those trendy ones with a dewy center and matte finish. This one is just straight-up matte.
