I love that this product is gentle and won't cause irritation or breakouts. The best part is there's no white cast, so it blends seamlessly into my skin. It feels so hydrating that I can use it right after my toner without needing anything else, which makes my routine super simple. Plus, my eyes feel comfortable when I use it. During winter, it has a nice moisturizing cream-like texture that I really enjoy. However, when summer rolls around, it feels too heavy on my skin, so I need to use powder to set it. I should mention that if I apply too much product around my eye area, it can cause some irritation.

I only use it on days when I'm going makeup-free. The fragrance is overwhelming, and something about it just doesn't work with my complexion. When I apply it under my makeup, everything gets so heavy and patchy. I've tried switching my base products and tested countless combinations, but nothing helped. Whether I'm wearing tone-up cream, foundation, or cushion compact, this sunscreen alone causes everything to pill and clump like dirt... I wondered if there was an ingredient conflict, so I reached out to customer service. Their response was basically to exfoliate once or twice a week and make sure my skincare absorbs fully, then apply the sunscreen in thin layers multiple times. But I was asking because I'd already been thoughtful about ingredients and was trying to find the best match. They acted like I hadn't even tried those basics... After getting such a dismissive response, I've completely lost interest in using Mamonde products going forward. I'm not the only one who's experienced this pilling issue either, so the brand really needs to address this problem. Honestly, even if they reformulate it, I won't be switching back. There are literally a million sunscreen brands out there, so there's really no reason to choose this one. I only bought it because I fell for a discount, but honestly, the amount you get is tiny and the value for money is terrible. There are so many other sunscreens with better formulas and better performance, so just pick something else. The sky blue formula is delightful from the moment you apply it. It has a slightly thick, creamy texture rather than being runny, so you can really feel how well it adheres to your skin. With just the right amount of nourishing oils, it leaves your complexion feeling hydrated and dewy without any dryness, and it spreads smoothly and evenly across your face. When applied around the eye area, it can feel irritating quite quickly, so if you have sensitive skin, it's best to avoid the delicate area around your eyes. Because it has that oily quality to it, layering multiple applications becomes tricky and doesn't work as well.

I've been really enjoying the Mamonde Azulene toner and ampoule, so when I needed a sunscreen, I decided to try the same line. I'm actually quite happy with it! The formula is kind of creamy, and it applies so smoothly. It does feel a bit oily at first, but once it absorbs, it spreads beautifully and feels really soft on the skin! I picked this up when they were selling it on the official site as a bundle with sunscreen and toner in smaller sizes at a great price. At first, it seemed to apply really nicely and my makeup looked great. It's pretty oily, so if you have combination or oily skin and apply it generously, your makeup starts feeling heavy and breaks down after just a little while. For combination skin like mine, it wasn't a major issue, but on days when I sweat a lot, I needed to reapply it once or twice to feel confident. This sunscreen is amazing - it soothes my skin and feels instantly cooling when I apply it. Plus, there's no white cast at all, which I really appreciate! It's a bit sticky, which was my only complaint. Otherwise, it's pretty standard and does the job without anything particularly special about it.
