When I apply this on days when my skin feels irritated, it calms down right away and my inner dryness gets so much better. My skin feels dewy even in the morning! The entire Calming Shot line is fantastic, and I'd definitely recommend it as a daily essential. Since the texture is quite lightweight, I find myself using a generous amount each time. I wish the bottle size were a bit larger to match my usage. If you have sensitive skin or are looking for a daily skincare routine, I highly recommend the Calming Shot line. I tried a sample from another Mamonde product and I'm absolutely obsessed with it! It has this subtle bluish tint and is kind of transparent, but honestly, it delivers serious hydration - like, it really fills your skin with moisture. What I love most is that it's not just hydrating; it feels substantial and nourishing too. Compared to Anua's Hyaluronic Acid 100 Hydrating Cream, this one feels way more moisturizing and luxurious. I was a bit disappointed with Anua because it felt a little thin, but this one is absolutely perfect - just the right texture! Since I have combination skin, I only use this cream in the morning, and before bed I apply a bit more since it can feel slightly dry, then layer another hydrating cream on top, and it works beautifully. If you have oily skin, honestly, this alone should do the trick! It's genuinely that good - please, I'm begging you, at least test it at Olive Young! There's literally nothing bad about it - everything is just amazing! I've been using this for over two months now and I'm so happy with it that I had to leave a review! I'm using it together with the ampoule from the same line, and both are packed with hydration—it's amazing. The application is smooth and the moisturizing effect is so much stronger than I expected. After applying everything, there's this nice nourishing finish that really fills in what your skin needs, so I never feel like anything's missing. My skin tends to be oily in some areas and sensitive, so whenever a product is too oily or too heavy with nutrients, I always break out. But with this one, the hydration lasts a really long time after application. Some products dry out your skin after a while, but this one doesn't do that at all. It might not be quite enough for people with extremely dry skin, but for combination skin that's oily and dehydrated like mine, I'm absolutely certain everyone would be satisfied! The price though... haha. Honestly, the way it feels on my skin is great and I haven't had any irritation, so there's really no reason not to recommend it. If I had to pick just one tiny thing, it would be that it might not be quite enough for very dry skin types. But if you have dry skin, you can just apply it twice or add an ampoule in between—problem solved! This product really shines when you use it with the ampoule from the same line. If this works well for you, definitely try the ampoule too. I use this together with an ampoule and the application feels absolutely wonderful. After applying this, I noticed the next day that my redness seemed to fade away noticeably. There's nothing really to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, it does feel a bit on the oily side.
