This emulsion works beautifully year-round. It strikes the perfect balance—not too light, not too heavy—with excellent hydration and oil control. I usually like to experiment with different products and rarely repurchase, but this one earned a spot in my regular rotation. It's gentle, soothing, and leaves my skin feeling wonderfully moisturized. I've been using this since my student days, and I really like the scent. When I apply it on days when my skin is in good condition, it leaves my complexion feeling incredibly smooth and firm. Once I became an adult, I noticed it was too heavy for my skin. I'd wake up with my face feeling greasy and oily. Plus, I started getting occasional breakouts, which never happened before. Recently, my skin barrier got compromised and my complexion was completely thrown off, but I kept using this product anyway. I've already gone through 4 bottles just from what I can see, and I've completely emptied 9 bottles total. Whenever winter rolls around and I need that hydration and barrier support, this is absolutely my go-to product. During winter, my face was especially prone to contact dermatitis, so I couldn't apply much of anything without irritation. But this one? No stinging, it protects my barrier with ceramides, and it's so gentle on my skin. After using it, zero breakouts. It's a lightweight emulsion formula with just a touch of oil content. Honestly, that little bit of oil is absolutely essential during the colder months. **This is perfect for winter! I tried it once in summer and the oil content was way too much for me. I'm obsessed with this as my winter essential. Great for strengthening the skin barrier. My skin was in rough shape with a compromised barrier, flaking, redness, enlarged pores, and sensitivity. After applying this generously, the flaking smoothed out, my pores tightened, and those pesky bumps disappeared. I'm really satisfied with the results. The emulsion has a moderate amount of moisture and oil content, not overly rich at all. It has that typical ceramide emulsion feel. When I apply it before makeup, it doesn't pill and my makeup applies beautifully. Eye irritation. I was surprised there weren't more reviews mentioning eye stinging, since I experienced it with this and also with the Astra MD cream. The benefits are amazing, but the eye irritation is so bothersome that I can barely use it. Maybe it's just my sensitive eyes. Also, the hydration feels light. If I only use this, my skin feels dry after a while, so I need to layer other products. And the fragrance... why do brands still add such strong scents to emulsions these days? My skin is super sensitive - it gets red easily, puffs up, and feels tight. On top of that, it's incredibly dry underneath. I found this product by chance while searching online, and honestly, it's been amazing for my skin. I've tried Amorepacific's premium line too, but their products tend to leave my skin feeling parched on the inside while only the surface feels oily. It's frustrating. But this one? No inner dryness at all, and it doesn't irritate my skin whatsoever. I really hope Amorepacific keeps this product in their lineup and doesn't change the formula. It's been such a game-changer for me. The scent is pretty strong, though not as intense as their Hera line. I only picked up the toner and emulsion so far, but I'm hearing great things about the cream, so I'm excited to try it.

With its ceramide protective barrier, this product keeps your skin soft and healthy. I really don't have any complaints. The only thing is the lid came off, but that's because I've been tossing the whole container in my bag when I travel. You can layer it beautifully by mixing it with aloe vera gel and applying a light amount first, then mixing it with oil and applying again for a hydrating layer followed by a nourishing layer.

For an emulsion, this one has a lighter texture, which makes it spread smoothly and absorb beautifully into the skin. The overall feel is really pleasant to use. Unless it's the dead of winter or your skin is particularly dry, this works just fine. I'm happy with it.
