It's way too drying for me. The instructions even mention that tightness may occur, but they present it like it's totally normal—which doesn't make it any less uncomfortable. Honestly, the results aren't that impressive either. I'd say a regular soothing cream would work better. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and I'm allergic to alcohol and aloe, so I purchased this from a dermatologist. I've been using it for over 3 years now. The formula has a gel texture, so it's quite lightweight and fluid. This is actually the first toner-type product I've ever used since I normally skip that step in my routine. It works really well for my extremely reactive skin. Since it's a dermatologist-recommended product, the price point is quite steep.
