I use it as an exfoliating toner, and I love how the scent and absorption work perfectly for daily use. The container cap gets messy with regular use, so I wish they would improve that. This toner really calms and soothes your skin instantly. I've been using this along with the bamboo serum and cream - I use a little bit during summer and gradually increase it as fall arrives, and it's absolutely amazing. I'm going through the products so quickly because I love them all. The sunscreen is fantastic, and honestly, the color lip balm and all the base products are just wonderful. I first discovered this vegan brand when I received a set (toner, cream, and sunscreen) as a gift from Hana Bank. After trying the toner, I decided to repurchase it. The original gift set came in glass bottles, but the repurchased product is made from Recycled PET, making it significantly lighter than glass. The formula contains only 100% green tea extract, so it's incredibly pure. Since there are no other ingredients besides green tea, the toner has a deep brown color like steeped green tea. Green tea has soothing properties that calm skin inflammation, and I noticed that the small breakouts and congestion I used to get with other toners completely disappeared after using this one. The green tea's hydrating properties calm and soothe the skin beautifully. The texture is a lightweight water toner with absolutely no stickiness. I detect a green tea scent, though my sister says it smells more like herbal medicine. Either way, it's not an off-putting fragrance at all. The glass bottle was inconvenient to carry around and quite heavy, which was disappointing even though I loved everything else about the product. I'm really pleased that the packaging has changed in the repurchased version. The absorption speed is a bit slow, so I recommend patting it in several times to help it absorb better. Since it has a watery consistency, it can easily drip down your face, and you really need to keep patting it in so that the next step essences or serums absorb more effectively. There's a noticeable difference in how well the following skincare products absorb depending on whether you pat this toner in or just apply it directly. Even though my skin is dry, this product feels amazing to use. It delivers plenty of hydration and works like a second cleanse after washing, leaving my skin perfectly refined. It even helps prevent breakouts. The scent is really appealing, and it genuinely feels like my skin is getting a moment of rest. It's supposedly 100% green tea, and I think that's why the ingredients are so impressive. Melixir seems to be the brand that first became famous for vegan beauty products, and I really appreciate their branding approach. I think it would be great for pregnant women to use too.
