Honestly, everything else takes a backseat because the scent is absolutely amazing. Beyond that, it doesn't have any standout features, but it works great for maintaining your perm without any fuss. The tube format makes it super convenient to use. I can't really point out any downsides when using it. It's a solid, no-frills product. The consistency is similar to a typical hair essence, which works great for curling. It's easy to use without any issues. The packaging is disappointing. This natural curl product delivers exactly what its name promises - incredibly fresh and silky smooth hair texture!! The fragrance might be quite strong for some people, which could be a consideration. Personally, I'm fine with it, but if you have a sensitive nose or are fragrance-sensitive, you might find it a bit overwhelming!

I think Mise-en-Scene is a hair care essential. The price point is fantastic, and the scent is lovely. I picked up their Natural Curl version, and it truly delivers on that natural wave. If you're looking for more dramatic curls, I'd suggest going for their Volume Curl option instead. I'm not sure if my application technique needs work, but when I squeeze it into my palm, rub it between my hands, and work it through my hair, I notice some clumping in certain spots. Other than that minor issue, I'm really happy with how it performs overall.
