The moment I held it in my hand, I could tell it wasn't silicone-based. There's no that typical slick, silicone coating feel on my skin—it just feels clean and straightforward. The formula doesn't work for me, kind of like a kids' shampoo. Sure enough, it has limonene and linalool in it. I'm not sure why they'd include these ingredients. My hair feels fine once it's dry, but when it's still wet and touches my chin, it gets itchy.
